geebsMan, I'm behind the times, I was totally unaware of the HCAR:
Basically, its an updated version of the BAR, set up to be all assault rifle (or rather battle rifle) like. You know how I like me them automatic rifles chambered for high caliber rounds. The BAR was always my favorite "gangland" weapons from that time period. The Tommy gun is cool and all, and is the one you see in all the movies, but c'mon, a fully automatic rifle firing .30-06? Way more bad-ass than a .45 submachine gun.
TV commentary:
South Park- Weird!! What's with all the continuity on South Park this season? I mean, these past few eps have actually been playing off each other. Its kinda unexpected from a cartoon. I mean, the season premiere had the start up, and then the second ep was the fallout when they came back after cursing everyone out and leaving to start their start up. Like they mentioned Butters burning down the gym, and I'm amused that even last night, its still showing the fire damage. But yeah, they tried to save their rep by getting Lorde to play at their party. And Randy was dressed as her, and at first you think, its because they failed to get actual Lorde, so he had to dress up and pretend to be her. But last night's ep, you find out that Randy is actually Lorde.
I'm also curious, I don't think that's Lorde singing that "Getting Busy on a Wednesday". When it changed from Randy to a female voice, I was wondering it they were actually using a real Lorde song, but I guess the lady singing doesn't actually sound like her. But she does sound familiar, I wonder if they got another famous singer to be fake Lorde.
SVU- Ah, I had a feeling they were going that route! When Amaro was visiting Liv and they randomly mentioned the little kid being sick a few times in the past few weeks, I was wondering they were setting it up to be something worse. And given the ep ended with Liv rushing to the emergency room, I guess it is.
Also, was this ep a thinly veiled reference to Amanda Bynes and Dan Savage and all those other Nickelodeon girls?
Heh, and I remember they revealed Rollins and Amaro secretly going out in the premiere, but they hadn't addressed it in a while, so I totally forget they were a thing.
