The Strain- Interesting end to the season. So the gang goes after the Master. They bring Eph's kid, because as Nora says, there's no keeping him safe behind anywhere anymore. The safest place is by his side, she thinks. Anyways, they do well, forcing the Master outside, but it doesn't kill him. So Abraham is devastated that it didn't work, because he doesn't know as much about vamps as he thought. If sunlight doesn't kill the master, what can?
Then Eph's kid fakes an asthma attack to force them to go home so he can get a photo album. And they're attacked by Kelly, so now the kid knows his mom is a vamp. Strangely, Eph shoots at her but misses, but Kelly doesn't go after them, she just runs- I couldn't tell if she was being called by the Master, or if the voices being heard were the Master ordering her to go after her family and her resisting and just walking away.
Meanwhile, Fitzwilliam quits Palmer's employ, finally seeing his boss for the monster he is. Palmer then goes and tosses the Secretary of Health off a balcony when she won't play ball- she wanted to quarantine NYC in the wake of Eph's broadcast. Eph's old boss knows the writing in the wall, and says he'll be a loyal follower and do what they ask.
Oh, and Gus is recruited by the other vamps to be their human soldier in the day. It sounds like they follow a bunch of other Master-like vamps, and Eichorst's master had broken some treaty in doing all this stuff he's been doing.
WO blather- So I finally unlocked the purple stone stages in Gauntlet mode, so working on completing all the stages in that for the trophy. The multi-battlefield stages do give a lot of xp, which I've been using to raise levels. Everyone's been promoted once, and are at least level 20, so they still have access to their full move set. So, been slowly working on maxing proficiency in their new skills, their compatibility with their X-weapons and getting their mystics. Well, and getting them to lvl 100 again to access the extra item slots.
Upgrade stone wise, obviously I max their speed, dump the majority into musou, and the last 30 into life, attack, and defense. That way if I do decide to totally max them out, the stats grow evenly, since musou starts out lower and grows slower.
But yeah, I do have their X-weapons almost the way I want- got wrath and windslay on all of them, and Hanzo and Hideyoshi are the only two without tri-element, but that's easily remedied. I actually have a bunch of broken fire spears with which to forge tri-element orbs, I just need some more of the treasure chest item. Plus stuff always shows up in the shop, so everyone should have windslay/tri-element +10 soon enough.
