Royal Pains- Wow, that was a surprise. The end of the season finale was surprisingly drama free. No further complications with Hank's gf's sight. They find Emma and she decides to go on the rest of their dad's book tour. There was that whole thing with Rafa trying to get sole custody of Divya's baby, but by the end, that seemed like that wasn't a danger. Like they still had things to work out, but she wasn't going to lose her. And she bumps into her ex-fiancee, who's conveniently divorced.
I mean, the only one who could be sad is Jeremiah, but even though the girl he liked left for Tulsa (see, she even won her case to stay in the country!) he seemed to be on the road to getting over it, as he went into therapy with Bob.
I suppose Boris still has a health scare, that his condition is worse than he's letting on to Hank, but that didn't come into play at the end- like I expected when the brothers got up to talk and they reconciled, that they would come back and find Boris like dying, and their whole hospital deal would be up in smoke.
As it is, honestly, you could end it here, and it would be a mostly satisfying ending.
Rizzoli and Isles- Heh, that was a silly cliffhanger! So Jane manages to convince Apollo not to kill himself, and Ida know, I just thought it more hilarious than anything that he gets this goofy grin on his face and accidentally slips off the bridge.
The thing with the Rizzolis trying to convince Maura to be cooler and read teen mags and learn about Katy Perry and PLL so her boyfriend's daughter would like her was also a little silly. Like, isn't the whole reason this thing was happening because the daughter wanted extra credit. If she was dorky enough to want to shadow a coroner for extra school credit, she and Maura were going to get along just fine!
Finding Carter- Dangit, I knew it! It finally happened! Like the promos had been hinting, Max got shot. Fans blaming Bird, that's bs. I mean, she's still a bitch for hanging Carter to dry out like that because she was too chicken to get in trouble with her mother, even though she would only get like grounded, whereas Carter was almost thrown in jail. But saying if Bird hadn't gotten Carter arrested, none of this would have happened is just not true. I think this would have happened eventually- I mean, Carter was already pissed over what David had done, so something would have eventually led to Carter running away with Crash.
People blaming Liz are even more deluded. She is Carter's mother! She's worried about her. Everyone was cautioning her to give Carter space, but there's a certain point where you got to sit that little brat down and tell her she is still a child and she doesn't have free reign to run around and do whatever she wants, when its hurting her loved ones. And yeah, Crash has a sad life, but he's done some bad things, you can't blame Lizzie for not trusting him. She called an amber alert because yes, she was missing!
I mean, he's not really kidnapping her, but he sort of is, because he's enabling her, talking about romantic fantasies where they can just run away together. They seemed to be redeeming Crash in the past few eps, but sorry, he's in the shit pile again. I mean, buying a gun? And he doesn't even know proper gun safety! Carter almost had it. She loses points for actually having her finger touching the trigger as she cleared the gun in the car. But I digress, even if the safety is on, you don't ever put your finger on the trigger unless you're ready to shoot, and you don't point it at anything you don't want shot!
So yeah, he ends up accidentally shooting Max, while trying to "pretend" rob him. First of all, I know he'll be in some serious shit over all this since he's on probation, but its not like this was some innocent accident. He shot a friend. Or at least a friend of a friend. Good people take responsibility. He wanted Carter to abandon her best friend there, lying in a pool of his own blood. He didn't even say something, like "Call 911, and then we run!" he just wanted to run.
Honestly, I'm not sure he accidentally mean to shoot Max. He was going crazy in the car there. They weren't in that much danger, but the way they filmed it, made him look like a psycho stalker not wanting his girl to talk to her male friend. Even when he came in, there was a tone of aggression in his voice.
And yeah, I think it was okay for Taylor to go off on Carter like that. She needs it! I mean, never ever forgiving her is a bit extreme, but yeah, someone needed to call Carter on her self centered BS. She is totally oblivious to the hurt she's causing her family and friends most of the time, so someone needs to set her ass straight. Its one thing to cause emotional torture on he loved ones, but now, Max is in the hospital dying.
But oh man, if they kill Max I'll be so pissed. I mean, the end didn't sound good, with David being all, the doctors want to speak with us. He's like this innocent guy, and Taylor's first love. That would be way too dark if he dies.
