Saw Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with Krug, Tara, and Joseph yesterday afternoon. I hadn't seen the first film or read any of the books. But I thought the movie was pretty good. We figgered since we caught an early show, the flick would be full of like kiddies or something. Surprisingly enough, the theater was full, but of old people. Actually, we were almost late to the show. I hadn't heard what the plan was, so I had a light lunch and was playing some Vice City, trying to get all 100 packages. The count is currently at 99. And I have gone and checked every location they tell you in the hint guide and still haven't found that last damn package. Its driving me gnuts!! So I ended up taking a late shower. Krug and Joseph showed up at the apartment right after I finished, intending to leave immediately, but alas I still needed a few more minutes to get ready. They had first thought of going to Uzemono's for lunch, but we still had to pick up Tara and there prolly wouldn't be enough time for such a place. So we ended up hitting Roasters instead and got to the theater just in time.

Like I had mentioned earlier, it was a pretty cool movie, though rather long. Though not as long as that special edition of FoTR. Krug picked it up on Wednesday, I haven't see it yet, but its like on two DVDs. Actually, [livejournal.com profile] mike_b said it was "long ass" but good. I guess I'll have to check it out on one of my off days or something. Though Chris was returning Tara's El-Hazard tapes last night and she let me borrow them, so I have those to watch. Not to mention a backlog of Firefly eps on the PVR. But hey, I completed all I wanted to do in Onimusha 2, and I guess there's nothing big left to do in Vice City. Oh, and I head back to NYC a week from now.

Well, I didn't see the parents over the summer, so I figured I would drop by a little early. Though I think I ended up booking too early of a flight for Christmas, and too late of a flight back.
