TV commentary:

Major Crimes- Hilarious and cute episode. Were they being meta though?
Like usually when shows do eps like this, they're kinda talking about themselves when they talk about the fictional show that exists in their universe. But was Major Crimes on the bubble? Because they were already doing a backdoor pilot for a new spinoff.

But yeah, Luke Perry's character was amusing, and I got a kick out of Hobbs and Sykes and Buzz fangirling over him. And ha, he thought Rusty was an undercover!

And Sharon's need to throw Rusty a graduation party was funny too, particularly when she heard Julio was back on duty and was all, "Why didn't anyone tell me, we could've thrown a party!" And then giving him a hug? Awkward!

But ha, poor friendless Rusty! Wait, did he change schools because of all that protective custody? Like he had that one chick friend who liked him. But I guess she got mad at him because he didn't like her the way she wanted to?

The Fosters- Good ep. So Brandon finally comes clean to Stef and Mike. Of course, first, it sparks a fight between Mike and Stef where they're playing the blame game, until Lena shuts that crap down real quick. But then Stef tries to tell Brandon he was raped, but since he's a guy, he doesn't think he was. And Mike's the same way. Though part of that is because he's humiliated, that he could be so blind and stupid to let this woman into their lives, who took advantage of his son.

Finally, Stef is all, "Okay, what if it was Mariana?" And Mike is all, "Well, yeah, I would lock the bastard up!" And so, they toss Dani's ass in jail! Also, how weird is it that Callie and Brandon have this shared experience of being raped?

And interesting, Stef does apparently have lingering guilt over their divorce, that she feels she abandoned Mike. After all, his life is kinda sad and pathetic compared to the life she has with Lena.

Meanwhile, Callie and Jude spend the day with the Quinns. And they seem to enjoy themselves. Though Jude later admits he's kinda jealous, having to share Callie with Sophia, but he learned to share her with the Fosters, but he can do it with her too.

But heh, I know a lot of people are a little creeped out by Sophia. Like she REALLY wants Callie as her sister. Even floating the idea to Robert about adopting Callie themselves. And he points out they technically don't have to, since he's hers.

And what's with all the crazies? Like Hayley is totally jealous of Jesus going to some party with the rest of the rasslin team (I guess because Emma was going to be there?) So right when he's about to leave, she magically shows up, all distraught over her parents divorce that she JUST found out about. So he misses the party (where apparently Emma was made captain) and when he talks to Mariana, she's all, "What the shit, Hayley's known for months!"

But at least Mariana isn't making new crazy friends. Well, I mean, she kinda had crazy friends already. But Mat has always been trying to get her to not drive herself crazy trying to be impress these dance team girls. Well Tia seems nice (and ultra cute, though she seems much hotter on teen wolf as a teen assassin). But ha, it was kinda hilarious how bad their first conversation went. Where Mariana accidentally insulted Tia by saying this hip hop dancing stuff comes naturally to her, and digs herself an even deeper hole by saying maybe she should try to blend in more. So of course, Tia's all, "Oh, maybe dye my hair blond and be an uncle tom like you?" But they work it out in the end at least.
