Finding Carter- I like this show, I just wish the main character wasn't this total bitch who thinks she's this put upon martyr. I swear, she's like this sociopath when it comes to her real mother. Always asking everyone, "Why is she such a bitch?" and when they're all, "Well, losing you 13 years ago did kinda destroy her!" she like laughs it off. What kind of monster is she?
As I've said before, I get she feels she had a mother with Lori, and its easier for her to connect with the rest of the family because she never had a father or brother or sister when she was with Lori. So Lizzie gets the short end of the stick, but still. I like the line Gabe's dad said about how you deal with loss that shows your real character. And basically, she's showing herself to be a heinous bitch.
Heh, and what sucks is Elizabeth is making some mistakes too. But they're understandable. Like pretending to disapprove of Max in the insane hopes that telling her not to be with Max will push her towards Max. Its too bad Taylor has a thing for him now. So she pretty much tells Carter that's their mom's plan. I'd like to see them get together. He's a nice, sweet guy, it would be nice for Taylor to have something, what with every other boy worshiping at Carter's feet.
Its like eff that Gabe guy. The creepy stalker, all, "I will have Carter one day!" Psycho much? Taylor dodged a bullet there. Like I don't even like Carter, but even she doesn't deserve that douche.
But at least Carter has some sense, ditching that actual psycho Crash. I mean, teaching Grant how to roll a joint, and trying to impress him by saying he killed a guy at his age. Its like, anyone who tries to impress a little kid by bragging about killing people when he was as old as they were is an insane monster.
So yeah, as I said before, Carter and David are getting along swimmingly since she never had a father figure, so she can accept David into her life. God, I feel so sorry for Elizabeth. Because it seems Carter doesn't mind this new life with the father and siblings, she would just like to cut Lizzie out and replace her with Lori, even imagining David and Lori together as a couple.
But ooh, are we starting to see the cracks in Lori's image? When she saw David and Carter hugging at the end, she did not look happy at all.
