May. 26th, 2014 10:24 pmEnded up getting to see Wreck It Ralph and Frozen in the past couple of days, they were both enjoyable movies. Went to K's for a Memorial Day BBQ. Good fun and times as usual.
TV commentary:
Continuum- Wow, I was totally unaware Alec didn't know about that. That his Kiera had died. But I guess it was the other Alec who knew? But yeah, is it me, or is Carlos keeping her frozen body ultra creepy? Interesting though, I didn't think about it, but I guess she is a wealth of tech, so I guess its no surprise when Alec feels the pressure to come up with advancements, he goes digging into dead Kiera's head for that tech.
24- Glad to see that was resolved quickly. Chloe and Kate are able to get the proof right quick to vindicate Jack. But not soon enough for Catelyn Stark to take over four of the drones (conveniently the super stealth ones, so they have no way of tracking them).
But wow, that Navid is an freaking idiot. I guess he thought maybe Cat chopping her daughter's fingers off would sway his wife to his side, but its like if she betrayed you the first time, how are you surprised you would eff you over? And even if he didn't see that coming, how would he not know they would figure out his little attempt to tell the authorities were they were? He had to know that Cat knew stuff she shouldn't from last time, and thus must have a way of watching his every move. To quote Mrs. White, it came as quite a shock to him when he died.
I'm amused by the little emotional moment between Jack and Audrey. Its like, sure, they had something once, and he was all, "Oh, its true, I killed those Russians!" but conveniently left out that it was during a revenge rampage after they killed his gf at the time. Because that would've been amusingly awkward.
