TV commentary:

The Walking Dead- Heh, this ep reminded me of a certain thing in the comics. I had forgotten Tyrese and Carol were actually a couple for a while in the comics. But given she did actually kill Karen and the other guy, that would prolly put a damper on things, even if Tyrese does forgive her.

I was still hoping she was covering for Lizzie. But as she told Tyrese when he figured it was crazy Lizzie who did it, Lizzie would have wanted them to turn. But she could've killed them, and then Carol had to kill them the right way and burn the bodies as a forensics countermeasure in case someone wondered why there were two wounds. Though given how Lizzie freaked out when Carol killed the walker she was playing with, I suppose she would've been really pissed if Carol did that.

But whatever, Lizzie is still a psycho. I was kinda amused when people were all, "Whoa, Lizzie was the one feeding the walkers the rats in the prison?" ojv('Man, its obvious?!') Its not like they hadn't shown she was a psychopath for a long time?

But yeah, they did kinda make Lizzie and Mika like the twins in the comics, with Lizzie killing Mika. And she was about to kill Judith too! So Carol ended up having to put her down. Which, I understand they've become good shots (except when they need to suck for purposes of the plot) but I would think Carol would want to be a little closer so she could be sure to put her down quick.

OUAT- Heh, the previews kinda pissed off the SQ-ers, but it was all for naught. There was that preview with the town meeting where everyone was being all accusatory with Regina, thinking she cast the curse, which sure, that's par for the course. But then the SQ-ers were all upset that Emma agreed. They were all how could Emma think that of Regina after all they'd been through and all Regina had done for her. But it turns out they were cooking up a plan between them.

But more on that later. First, during the lost year: they're attacked by another flying monkey, and FINALLY they realize its a Wizard of Oz thing. Is there TV in Storybrooke, because I agree with some of the complainers about how it took them so long to make the Oz connection since the flying monkey is so iconic to the Wizard of Oz. But yeah, they had Belle I think say "I remember reading about in a book somewhere!" so they act like its a book reference. But then Grumpy is all, "We need to know which witch, because one you drop a house on, and the other you throw a bucket of water on!" which I think is more a movie reference. Or at least, I'm more willing to believe Leroy would've seen the movie rather than having read a book.

Regina volunteers to sneak into the castle and bring down the shields, and Robin decides to go with her. Which annoys her to no end, because in addition to bringing down the barrier, she was going to put herself under the sleeping curse because she's still very sad. When Robin tries to stop her, she glues him to the floor and goes off to break the barrier down.

When she does, she meets the Wicked Witch, Zelena. Regina was shocked earlier that the doors in the underground tunnel were opened, as it was sealed with blood magic, so only she could open it. Which annoyed me that she didn't worry her mother had come back, since duh, the door prolly opened up to a relative of hers, rather than someone being way more powerful to overcome "blood magic". I mean, I suppose as far as she knew, all her family was dead, but at the very least I would think she would consider the relative thing before immediately jumping to the someone super powerful theory.

But yeah, I digress, Zelena is Regina's half sister, given up by Cora, I suppose because she was all green. So Zelena is all jealous, wanting revenge for all the things Regina got that she didn't, which is kinda laughable considering Regina's lot. So she's all, "You can have the castle back, I'm cooking up a plan anyways!" Amusingly enough, its this that breaks Regina out of her funk. She's not going to lay down and sleep when this chick is going after her. Beating this chick is her new cause.

In the present, as I said, Regina and Emma cook up this plan to make everyone think Emma and Regina are still enemies to give themselves an advantage. Regina tries to make a memory potion, though more to make Henry remember her, rather than trying to figure out what happened during the lost year. Its funny because everyone is all awkward around Henry because he still doesn't remember them. So Emma has to introduce everyone as old friends.

But yeah, the memory potion failed, but Emma says the real bad guy doesn't know it failed, so they leak to Leroy (who is apparently the town crier?) that they're working on a memory potion. They hope they can smoke the bad guy out this way. It almost works- Regina sealed her office with a blood magic trap. But unfortunately, since she doesn't remember the lost year, she forgets that won't work on her sister. So Zelena puffs away in green smoke before they see her. Again, I'm kinda annoyed that Regina is confused and goes the "why didn't my lock work?" and not worry that its her mom or something. (yeah, she thinks she's dead, and magic supposedly can't bring people back from the dead, and Cora seemed to be all good before she died, but its still a legitimate possibility to think)

Meanwhile, the dwarves were disappearing as they checked out the borders. Emma thinks Neal might've disappeared the same way. It looks like Robin Hood and his men (still no Mulan, since she's on that show on NBC right now) were sent over too. Little John is showing Robin and the merry men this cool crossbow he "found" (i.e. looted) by trying to shoot a turkey. He misses, and chases after the bird. Since Robin and his people haven't been told about the border issue, no one stops Little John from crossing as he chases the turkey. But instead of losing his memory, a flying monkey grabs him.

It scratches him up, and when they find him later and take him to the hospital, he turns into a flying monkey. Interesting, so they can turn people into more of them? But yeah, between the puff of green smoke and the flying monkeys, the gang once again figures out it has to do with the wicked witch. Unfortunately, Regina has no idea its her sister.

So what else? Zelena mentions to Regina they both studied under Rumple. And who does Zelena have locked in her basement, a very much alive, but totally bonkers Rumple!
