TV commentary:

Starcrossed- I'm surprised clevemire was willing to give this a chance given from the promos it seemed pretty obvious it was more a lame alien teen love story than a sci-fi show. He did only last 10 minutes, as did I since I have enough shows on Monday to watch that I have no time to start a new one.

Owel, it didn't grab me at all. But lemme comment on the chyx. It stars Aimee Teegarden, but alas she doesn't look as cute here as she did on FNL as Julie Taylor. And heh, Malese Jow plays her sick friend, and then she was on last night's Castle too. 90210 dude/Clone Wars Anakin's VA was Aimee Teegarden's love interest, but he also had a sister Sophia, whom I found strangely attractive with her weird hairstyle and pale skin and blue eyes. (You know me and blue eyed brunettes) She's played by Brina Palencia, who's apparently a voice actress (and weird, also the random hippie chick with the bf that Rick and Carol found in that neighborhood when he got her out of the prison to ask her about the whole killing Teen Wolf's mom thing. I could've sworn that girl was a curly haired blonde).

Anyways, when looking her up, I found her youtube channel, with videos such as this where she plays an obsessed anime fan:

Is it me, or is she kinda totally cute in the vid?

The Following- That seems ill advised! So Ryan and Max manage to capture Gisele. She leads Ryan into a trap (well, he knew it prolly was going in), and while she and Max are alone, she breaks her own thumb to escape her cuffs and knocks out Max. Of course, when she catches up with whichever twin is the psycho-er one, they've run Ryan to ground at some random lady's house (whom he blindfolded and took hostage while he patched up). She and he tussle, and she lies and taunts him by saying she killed Max. So of course Ryan goes crazy and kills her ass, much to crazy twin's dismay. And what the hell, I know the hostage lady was hidden in the closet, but that's kinda crazy he just left her there! How would he know they wouldn't find her? Also, if Ryan doubled backed and noticed crazy twin busy bawling over Gisele, he could've killed that guy too!

But yeah, when he returns to the hotel, expecting to find his niece's corpse, he's incredibly relieved she's still alive and wraps her up in an uncomfortably long hug.

Anyways, other stuff. Mike figures out Joe is alive from footage of bearded him with Mandy taken from a gas station, but he also keeps mum to the Feebs about figuring that out. Interesting, Ryan and Max had someone tell them Joe is alive, but they can't ever be sure since these people are all crazy. But now Mike is the one who has real confirmation.

Back at the compound, Lily tries to entice Joe with a drugged up college co-ed, but he's not having it, because he sees it as a ploy to control him. But then he totally kills the girl and then, hands still covered in blood, does it with Lily. Meanwhile, Lily has meek twin distract Emma. (heh, I love how Lily and Emma are so secretly catty towards each other) Apparently meek twin doesn't like being touched. Which leads to an argument with Emma when she tries to kiss him and he freaks out. But after he's fallen asleep, she finished the portrait she had been painting of him, but draws him with Joe's face. But she also strokes meek twin's hair as he sleeps, so maybe she does like him too?

Starcrossed Actually got better as it went on. they showed where the aliens live and set up some interesting possible plot lines so it's not all generic Romeo and Juliet with a human and an alien. Not saying it was great but it improved and one of my favorite comic book writers writes a few up the upcoming episodes so I am willing to give it a chance

I didn't actually watch the promos. I just saw like... Aimee Teegarden and aliens and I figured I'd give it a shot. Cost me 10 minutes of my time, and now I can rest comfortably knowing I'm not really missing anything.
