Feb. 13th, 2014 03:00 pmSo it looks like CW has renewed 5 of their shows already- Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Supernatural, Arrow, and Reign.
I mean, Supernatural and Vampire Diaries were definite givens. Arrow was pretty likely. I'm glad the Originals was given the go-ahead, since it was a freshman series. I don't watch Reign, and was unsure how popular it was, but good for it.
But yeah, Vampire Diaries, the Originals, and Arrow are the important ones for me. Supernatural I enjoy, but I wouldn't mind if it ended, because how many conflicts can they get into? Like in the beginning, they were trying to stop someone from opening a gate to hell. Then they were trying to stop Lucifer rising. Which they failed at, but then they caged him back up, and now the enemies were the leviathans (which I'm not sure where supposed to be the equivalent of titans, or elder gods). Then when they defeated those guys, you have all these upheavals and power struggles in heaven and hell, different factions of demons and angels vying for power. Its like, once they get that sorted out, where do they go from there?
I guess the other CW shows I watch whose status is up in the air are "Hart of Dixie" and "Tomorrow People", but honestly I could care less if they did get canceled. Well, I hope Hart of Dixie gets enough notice that they can end with Zoe and Wade finally getting back together. (Though like I said before, Lemonade is my crack ship, that would be awesome if they played around with that at some point)
