TV commentary:

Arrow- Is it me, or did the villain of the week's plan have a few flaws? Like Armitage's henchman was all, "Why did he hire you?" to Bronze Tiger, and BT is all, "For that!" when Arrow and Roy show up. But the only reason Arrow had shown up was because Bronze Tiger had broken out of prison, and in following the clues, it led him to the heist.

Ollie didn't even know that prototype Earthquake machine existed! Like had Armitage just done the heist with his own men, he would've been able to get the earthquake machine to Markovia with no one the wiser. Then again, the audience knows everything, the bad guy does not- Arrow constantly shows up places, foiling schemes. Armitage would have no way of knowing Arrow wouldn't show up, so he had BT as insurance. Its just amusing that, had he not gotten that insurance in the first place, he woulda been fine.

Also, didn't the earthquake machine need to be set up along certain fault lines under the city to cause a devastating quake? Although its possible one of those lines was under the docks. And it could have enough power to cause a lot of damage regardless.

But interesting, Waller showing up to recruit BT, are we going to actually see the Suicide Squad, or is it just a fanwank?

Anyways, didn't expect Ollie to reveal himself to Roy this ep. I mean, I figured he was going to do it sooner rather than later, it was just unexpected, is all. A nice surprise.

I'm a little skeptical about Moira running for Mayor. Walter and Krycek were all, people love a redemption story, and bring up guys like Clinton and Spitzer. Of course, an affair is one thing. Being involved in a plot that killed hundreds of people is a totally different matter. Oh, and when she told Walter was worried about Thea finding out Malcolm is her father (wait, so Walter knew too?) because of the usual political digging up stuff, she said the Ob-Gyn might be a problem, and says they need to take care of it. WTF?! She was talking all ominously, but its weird, because it was to Walter, who wasn't involved in the Undertaking and is not crooked like her and a lot of their associates. Like, isn't that why he got mad at her in the first place? But he doesn't bat an eye.

Oh, and weird, the Laurel breakdown because she was about to get disbarred (and c'mon, you knew Sara was going to show up, there was no reason to hide the other half of Ollie's phone convo if he was talking to her dad, which would've been the only other logical person he would've called for that), there was that shifty looking guy at the bar. Maybe I missed it, but people were thinking he spiked her drink to make her more of a mess than she is. Which, why? To make it seem like she was just being drugged this whole time? But we've seen her take pills on her own, so its not like she doesn't actually have a problem!

Tomorrow People- Ha, I'm glad Jedekiah told that Hillary chick off! Telling her if she smiled upon hearing they were going to take out Astrid, he would have her killed next. She seems to forget she's a tomorrow person, and he's human, and he doesn't like killing his own kind because they found out about hers.

But what the hell, is Astrid just going to live down with the Tomorrow People now? I mean, they say they'll figure a way out of it for her, but how? They can't fake like she didn't know, because she was seen with Cara and John when they used their powers, there was evidence that Stephen and his ex partner hid the info about her being at that ambush a few eps ago. I'm still also confused on how they don't realize Stephen is a double agent. I would think his best friend being rescued by John's group is pretty damning. I mean, I always suspected Jed knows what's up, but he tolerates it, but its still hard to believe anyone thinks he's not involved with them. Although I guess they could also think like Hillary and think its nepotism, not just with Stephen, but with John being Jed's ex protege. Though at this point then, you would think they'd think Jed is compromised.

But hey, John and Astrid, that could be interesting. I mean, Stephen kinda stole Cara, it'll be funny if they switched partners.

Heh, though, turns out the mom's bf isn't a tomorrow person, and the tests Stephen was doing were actually Luca's doing. Which, I'm fine with Luca breaking out, because 1) it makes sense given the family history and 2) its actually an interesting storyline. But its kinda weird that trying to read the bf's mind was blocked by Luca. Like how does that work?!
