So, up in NYC for the holidays. The cab ride was terrible. Well, not terrible comfort wise, just a little ridiculous. First off, the driver didn't know how to get to the airport. Plus, he stopped for gas! I mean, he turned off the meter while he was getting gassed up, but who the eff gases up with a fare?! Good thing I wasn't in a rush! I mean, I still gave him a substantial holiday tip, but I think its bad form to pick up a fare that was pre-arranged and not have gas.

But made it to the airport in time. Heh, during pre-boarding I saw like this huge guy go to the gate. And I was thinking, he's not elderly, crippled, or have a child. But then the agent at the gate is all, "So, how old are you buddy?" and I was shocked when he replied he was 15. And sure enough, he had like his mom dropping him off. He looked like a college lineman. I mean, I guess actual college lineman are prolly that big at that age, it was just a surprise is all.

So, went first class this trip. Like I said, it was only $75 more. But since they get to check in up to 3 bags for free, and checking in a bag if I flew coach woulda been $25, it was really only $50 more. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised to get a meal. And I actually got all the coke I wanted, compared to the half of a can I would get in coach.

I'm also 95% sure I was sitting across from Usher. Or at least he looked like Usher and had the same tattoos. He was with a couple of kids and a girlfriend, and an older lady who was sitting next to me. It wasn't his mother though. As we landed, I finally asked if that was Usher, but she just smiled and said, "Why, does he look like Usher?" and didn't answer my question. He also covered his head with a hat as the passengers deplaned, and I heard some of them also wonder if that was Usher. So it might've been him.

After, dad and sparkyboy and we went straight to the mall where my mom and the aunts were shopping, and got stuck there for the next couple of hours. What's up with the Microsoft and Sony stores not having any interesting demos to play on the Xbox one and PS4?! I mean, it was all sports or Just Dance. I wanted to try some more Killer Instinct! And there's no more Barnes and Noble. And isabel79 had left earlier to one of the Barnes and Noble still open in the area! Dangit!

Before I left I asked your Mom if you guys wanted me to stay a bit / go to B&N with me. But they just rushed out of the car saying things in Tagalog... Sorry, I guess I should have called you guys myself. Plus I think she said you were eating? But LOL at sparkyboy walking to where the old B&N used to be!

Oh, we just picked up a pizza for sparkyboy at that place behind the mall since he hadn't eaten. Like I said, I was pleasantly surprised to actually get fed on the flight.
