Misfits- Huh, I don't know why I didn't realize electric girl from last week was Meera Reed. Like I was thinking, she looks familiar, but it didn't hit me until this week why. Heh, so is she going to get with Rudy Two? Also, he thinks these people on the jumper are going to be "proper superheroes" and he's going to be one of them, but what does he bring to the table? He's just an aspect of Rudy! He has no powers of his own.
I'm also amused that Rudy is feeling guilty about liking Jess, because Finn liked her first and he's wanting to consider his feelings, but what about Alex?! Alex from the bar is the one who actually went out with her! And its not like he dumped her- she dumped him because he cheated. But the way it went down, it seemed like he still liked her. Like he wanted her to forgive him so they could get back together. I mean, he seems to have accepted he effed it up for good, but I get the impression if she decided to take him back, he'd be for it.
I suppose Rudy is closer friends with Finn, but still, I thought part of the reason they were nervous about going for it was because it make things awkward for the group, and Finn's not the only one they have to worry about it being awkward for. But anyways, I thought the whole courtship between Jess and Rudy is cute. I'm worried something tragic will happen to them since this is supposedly the last series. I mean, things didn't end well for Simon and Alisha, or Curtis and Nikki. Though I suppose Seth and Kelly stay together in Uganda or whatever.
Oh, getting back to Alex, wasn't the end of the ep slightly rape-y sounding? Like Finn coaxes Leah out of her apartment, and then when the gang sees her, he's all, "I'll take care of this!" getting ready to eff the power out of her. I mean, so far he's only effed people who wanted to have their power taken. well, I guess Finn was knocked out and they were trying to get a friggin demon out of him. But yeah, I would think a baddie would not want their power taken, and thus would not eff Alex willingly, so isn't him getting ready to take someone's power like that pretty rape-y?!
