Picked up the new Avril album, which, I didn't realize I was a big enough fan that I have all her albums. Anyways, I like it. Lots of stuff dropping within close proximity, Prism was a couple of weeks ago, and Artpop comes out next week.
TV commentary:
HIMYM- Wait, do Canadians really refer to ZZ Top as "Zed Zed Top"? I mean, that's how they pronounce Z, but I would think if its a proper name they'd make an exception. But aw, sweet episode. Between Barney telling his mom he loves Robin and is marrying her even though they can't have kids, and then his mom comforting Robin when her actual mom couldn't come, to the future proposal between Ted and the Mother, lots of emotional stuff.
Hart of Dixie- Heh, interesting. Everyone apparently thinks the competition for Zoey is between George and Joel (I guess the song George wrote made everyone forget Wade is the one Zoey was actually with), but Wade makes it clear he's just waiting in the wings, ready to swoop in.
Is it me, or was George kinda jerk for a while in this ep? I mean, blaming all his woes on Zoey? Glad she pointed out that yeah, there was something between them that didn't do good things for his engagement, but there was that whole Lemon and Levon thing too. So even if she never came to town, there were already problems between George and Lemon.
Its nice to see them be friends again, and are they finally saying that's all they'll ever be? I actually kinda like this whole Lynley thing.
Glee- So this week is "A Katy or a Gaga". Going by the songs they chose though, I guess my vote is for Gaga? But that's because the Katy Perry songs they chose were "Wide Awake" and "Roar", which I'm not too keen on.
Applause- Pretty good rendition by Sam, Blaine, Artie, Ryder, and Marley.
Wide Awake- as done by Tina, Unique, Jake, and Kitty. Its a nice, acoustic version, but like I said, its not one of my favorite Katy songs.
Marry the Night- a pretty rockin version, done by Adam Lambert's guest character, Starchild.
Roar- as done by the usual, but featuring Dani and Starchild as well.
