So I was watching the IGN video walkthrough for Shaundi's Loyalty Quest in Saints Row IV. Now, in Saint's Row 2, Shaundi was voice by Eliza Dushku. In Saint's Row 3 and 4, she was voiced by Danielle Nicolet. But they add a character "Fun Shaundi", Shaundi's younger self from Saint's Row 2, that I thought was voiced by Eliza Dushku. I mean, if you watch that video it does sound a hell of a lot like her. But she's not in the credits on imdb and wikipedia, but there is a "Shaundi #2" voiced by someone else who is not Eliza Dushku.
So now I'm totally confused. Because like I said, it sounds a lot like Eliza Dushku. And like they even got NPH to reprise his role as Shaundi's ex Veteran Child. So there's him, they brought back Daniel Dae Kim to voice Johnny Gat (Well, he still voiced him in 3, but he died like in the beginning, but he's alive again in this one). So if its not her, if they were bringing back a bunch of the Saint's Row 2 voices, why couldn't they get her? Its not like she's super busy, plus its voice-acting.
Anyways, I guess while GTA V is going for "realism", Saints Row IV is just going for over the top? And not just in terms of outrageousness with people swinging around giant dildos and wot-not. Like GTA V, they're going for a Heat-style precision heists tactical feel, what with being able to switch between your team members during heists, like you're playing one guy, who sets the charge to blow through some window, then you switch to your sniper guy in the helicopter to provide support.
But Saints Row IV, you have like super powers, which seems to make some of the game moot. Its like, if you can run like the Flash, while knocking things aside like the Juggernaut, even being capable of short flight Superman-style, and you can telekinetically toss enemies around like ragdolls and shoot fireballs from your hands, why would you need to carjack cars or carry around guns? You're like a god among men!
