Perception- What is Daniel, effin crazy?! He went undercover in a mental institution without telling any of his friends?! I mean, obviously because they wouldn't let him, because its frickin crazy, and they would be right!
And like what if something happened to David Paymer? (or was it his Boston Commons brother?) I mean, I guess Kate is an FBI agent, so if Daniel was missing, I would think she'd eventually find him, but still! He could've been trapped for a while, with them doing all sorts of things to him, like pumping him full of drugs or exacerbating his schizophrenia. And then he'd really need to be institutionalized.
Now, maybe its because mentally ill people freak me out a little, because I'm a paranoid nutjob myself, so I can't trust they won't flip out and try and slit my throat or bash my head in for some imagined reason in their brain. So being trapped in a mental institution with them does not sound like a good idea at all. Which, what the eff, I can't believe Daniel incited the patients like that so he could use the distraction to sneak off. I guess he is a mental health professional, so I suppose he judged these folks as harmless, but at the same time, as a mental health professional, inciting a riot does not seem cool at all.
