Movie Commentary:

21 Jump Street- I keep forgetting to comment on this. It was pretty funny. One of the other Jump Streeters was played by Kate of Ben and Kate, who I had no idea was Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith's daughter. Like since when do they have a grown up daughter? I mean, I guess they're old enough. Also, I did not expect that one thing to happen. So Penhall and Hanson show up (well, Hoffs showed up earlier in charge of a police department motor pool) undercover, disguised as a couple of the bad guys thugs, pissed that C-tates and Jonah Hill effed up their investigation, but then they get distracted and killed. Like I would think 21 Jump St fans would be pissed.

Wolverine- It was better than the first one. Though I'm wondering if part of that is because I'm not as familiar with Wolverine's Japanese stuff (other than the existence of Yukio, Mariko, and the Silver Samurai), so I didn't notice what they got wrong. Well, other than Silver Samurai being a giant robot. And heh, I guess they can't use "The Hand" either, so they had to be "the Black Ninja clan". And is it me, or was Mariko hot? As for the post credits scene that all these superhero movies have now- So Magneto shows up to recruit Wolverine at an airport. And then everyone was all surprised when Prof X showed up when he did. I mean, it is a shock since he died at the end of the 3rd movie, but people acted like they didn't see it coming until he actually showed up. I mean, everyone else at the airport froze after Wolvie and Mags started talking, what did they expect.

Savages- Kinda blah. So shades of Breaking Bad, Riggins and Kick-Ass are best friends who develop some high quality kush. Unlike Walter White though, they have a bunch of ridiculous assets- Since Kick-Ass graduated UC Berkley, that somehow means he has a lot of hacker friends. And Riggins is an ex-Navy SEAL, so he has his SEAL buddies at his beck and call. Anyways, they get into a "polyamorous" relationship with Blake Lively.

So, they tussle with the Cartel, who kidnap Blake Lively to get them in line. Anyways, the polyamorous relationship is kinda silly, and what were they thinking making Blake Lively the narrator, and the soundtrack was distractingly terrible at times.

So, I'd just finished the Marvel shows this morning, and the Lucky One came on. (That Zefron movie where he finds a picture of some hot chick that ends up saving his life over in Afghanistan or Iraq or whatever) Now, [livejournal.com profile] clevemiresays "Orange is the New Black" is pretty good, and the lesbians on tumblr obsess over it, I assume because of That 70s Show Donna and the main chick. Anyways, I'm like trying to figure out what the love interest in the Lucky One has done, since I don't recognize her, but apparently she's the main chick in OitNB.

Transformers: Prime- Woah, is this the last episode? Bumblebee seemingly dies, but you know he was fine because he fell into the pool of synthetic energon, so not only does he get his voice back, he ends up killing Megatron! And then they use the Omega Lock to fix Cybertron, and the Autobots leave for it, while Ratchet chooses to stay behind and help the humans. I mean, it looks like Predaking is loose, and Airachnid has her army of vampire-insecticons out there, so there's still threats. But it still felt like an ending.

Ultimate Spiderman- Heh, I was literally screaming at the TV for most of this episode. Like whenever they got close to revealing to his parent that Luke Cage was their son, they kept get interrupted, if they never ended up finding out I was gonna be pissed. But they did, and its a happy reunion. Only what the hell is with the ominous ending, like Luke is possessed or secretly evil or something?

I thought it was hilarious (Penhall and Hanson being killed)! I'm really suprised I didn't pick up Peter Deluise to begin with. The movie wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I oddly enjoyed it actually.
