Transformers: Prime- Things I find kinda weird about looking through the Transformers: Prime tag on tumblr is 1) The number of girls who watch Transformers and 2) them referring to this character or that as "hot". Like we finally get to see Predaking's robot mode this episode, and for real, I counted at least 5 separate posts where people were all, "OMG, he's hot!" Its like a giant robot!
Owel, pretty cool episode. The Ultra Magnus/Wheeljack vs Predaking fight was bad-ass. And it was cool to see Starscream come up with a truly devious plan and it complete to fruition. Usually when he schemes, it backfires and he comes off looking like a fool. I mean, this plan will eventually backfire, Predaking will eventually figure out Megs and the Decepticons screwed him over, but still. Its nice to see him come off as a competent to show why Megatron keeps him around. Also, I do like the friendship between Starscream and Knockout, its always fun to see them snark and be as thick as thieves, bonding over some cunning scheme.
Do feel sorry for Predaking though, having his brethren destroyed like that. Also felt sorry for Ultra Magnus, he did start to realize that the rest of the Autobots don't actually like him. But hey, Optimus actually realized his old friend was kinda sad about it. It did look like Wheeljack and Ultra Magnus did get back on sorta good terms after fighting together against Predaking. But he did lose his hand and the hammer.
It was interesting to see Wheeljack having worked on Magnus' ship- this incarnation of Wheeljack is more martial, with the swords and all. But its kinda cool that they made it look like this version has those tech skills.
