Vampire Diaries- Smooth moove, ex-lax! So Bonnie drops the veil and shockingly, defeats Silas! But then she gets greedy and tries to keep Jeremy alive and ends up killing herself. So, now the veil is still down. Which may seem fine, because hey Stefan gets to hang with Lexi, Damon with Alaric, and Elena with Jeremy. But Kol's neck isn't going to stay broken forever. And Matt and the Bekster are surrounded by her ex-vampire hunter bf, Galen and Connor.
Glee- Heh, Heather Morris is definitely preggers. I mean, I had heard she got knocked up, but wow, they did a terrible job of blocking, her baby bump is obvious. And what was with the gratuitous fan service when Santana answered her phone? I mean, the cleavage-y shot of her bent over her phone to see who it is is one thing, but then randomly choosing that moment to take off her shirt?
Owel, guess they did go that route with the catfish. Which whatever, I would've been fine with it if they set it up correctly. I can understand wanting to keep Katie's identity a secret, but for a TV show, they should've sprinkled some clues. Like I said when the episode first came out, the catfish being Unique would make sense. But then they had ZERO interaction in the next several episodes, which made me think, okay, maybe its not Unique because if it was, there would have been some indication.
Instead, they made a decent job of making it seem like it was Kitty, so it actually being Unique just seems out of the blue. And heh, is Ryder really quitting? Is that how they're writing him off? I mean, he is only a Glee project winner. Then again Joe and Unique stayed for another season. And Unique wasn't even one of the last winners!
I mean, I complain about this, when they had Brit get into MIT. At least they didn't base it on her near-perfect SAT score, since they do bring up her GPA is ridiculously low. Whatever, its a TV show, I can roll with Brittany being some savant that the MIT guys want to study. But I'm curious if she's gone for good if she's leaving "for early admissions"? I had heard HeMo say she was going to retire once she started a family.
Anyways, like ND wasn't going to win this late in the game! I liked their and the Hoosier Daddy performances, but it seemed kinda underwhelming. But I guess it is their fourth go-around! The Wemma wedding after the win was surprising. And heh, that's how they end the ep and season, showing that Blaine has a ring that he will prolly use to propose to Kurt?
Other thoughts, Patty Duke and Meredith Baxter as the sweet old lesbian couple was nice. And heh, did they really just have Rachel for the first few minutes doing her try-out? Guess this ep really is setting up next season. I mean, since its only Regionals, they still have a few months left in the school year. Are they going to do a time jump, or will they just start off where they are now, and we get to see Rachel's Funny Girl journey (because really, like she's not going to get the part, otherwise what's the point?) and the club try to win Nationals? Will they also do graduation and prom in the fall?

Date: 2013-05-10 11:30 am (UTC)But then I would think if she can't access her magic, vampires, werewolves, and hybrids shouldn't be able to have their full powers either, but obviously they do, so who knows?
Though I also thought spells stop when you kill the witch. So the veil should have fallen back down when she died. I'm skeptical she's dead-dead though, surely they'll come up with some way to fix it all.
