Community- "As I Lay Me Down" is indeed the superior Sophie B Hawkins song. Oh weird, coat check girl was Envy Adams, she looked totally different with the different hair. Call me lame, but I actually enjoyed the whole Abed being so busy with the going on two dates at the same time sitcom trope that he missed the whole girl right under his nose romantic comedy trope thing.
Supernatural- Are they serious? They didn't really kill Kevin's mom (and possibly Kevin) off screen, did they? But hey, they at least broke Bobby out of hell, having been put there by Crowley. Naomi ends up stopping him from taking Bobby back. But given she totally lied about ordering Cas to kill them, can they really trust her?
To get Bobby (and Sam) out of purgatory (Sam broke into hell through a secret back door from there, though it was kinda silly how easy it was for him to find Bobby, and he only bumped into like one or two guards?!) Dean contacts Benny, and Dean asks if he can kill him so Benny can appear in hell and lead them to the portal out. Benny is fine with it, because he's been having trouble living the straight and narrow.
So he goes to Purgatory, and Bobby and Sam go all sourpuss on him. But then he ends up holding off some attackers so Sam can escape with Bobby. But, even if he didn't have to hold anyone off, it seems like he wasn't going to leave anyways, as he couldn't get used to life topside. At least Sam has the decency to finally acknowledge Benny isn't such a bad guy.
The Americans- Heh, this was almost sitcom-like. So Beeman's partner, all jealous over Martha, blunders into Phillip after a night of "working" her. Phillip ends up stabbing him in the ensuing fight. Unfortunately, Amador was set to participate in a FBI revenge hit against the KGB, so the whole ep, the FBI and the KGB think the other are doing things more nefarious than they are. The Feebs think the KGB grabbed Amador- I mean, they kinda did, since it was the Jennings who did, but the FBI was thinking he was being interrogated as part of a larger KGB operation, and that Nina is in danger.
Meanwhile, the Jennings are confused, because they do manage to get the name of the target the FBI were going to hit, but only because Amador thought the hit already took place. But since said target burned his hand on a potato and didn't go on his usual run, and Beeman was all worried about his partner that the hit team grabbed the first year KGB guy running in the KGB main desk guy's place. So they're all, "Why the hell would he give us a the name of a big target to distract us, to target some nobody?"
In the end, Amador ends up dying from his wounds, so they dump the body. Beeman is so pissed he executes the KGB guy they grabbed! WTF!? He suddenly went dark fast!
Oh, and the Jennings are on a break! I understand they're having issues, but I would think their handlers would be all, "You can friggin separate!"
