Misfits- Wow, this show can be so foul! I am totally shocked they could get away with Finn's sperm leaking of Abbey's vagina and hitting the floor!
But we find out Rudy's mystery girl's secret. She's been hiding out in a nunnery, or rather, nuns have been safeguarding her, or rather safeguarding the world from her because of her power to summon the four horseman of the Apocalypse. She ends up sacrificing herself.
Alex does get injured during all this, and Rudy brings up the story of teleporter girl that Curtis told him, all, what are the chances that Alex would get a power from this. I'm guessing 100%?
Decter- I did not expect things to end like that! So Hannah DID poison Deb. Part of me was hoping they wouldn't be so prosaic. I guess that makes me a sucker!
Anyways, Hannah still asks Dex to run away with her, but he tells her, they're relationship is effed. He can't trust her after what she did to Deb, and she obviously can't trust him anymore. So things will just end up bad if they stick together. Too bad for Dex that she engineers an escape and breaks into his apartment and ominously leaves flowers for him. I was not expecting her to live past the season! So is she going to be return next season at some point? I mean, hopefully next season will be Dexter's last, so she would have to return, right?
So, Laguerta brings Dex in for questioning, but Dex anticipated that and basically plants evidence that looks like Laguerta planted evidence to make Dex look guilty. So, she ends up looking like a crazy person! But then, the tapes Mike Anderson ordered way back in the beginning of the season show up and Laguerta figures out Deb is involved.
Since she's getting too close and now Deb is going to be in trouble, Dex think its time to take care of her. So he captures her and Estrada, and is going to make it look like they shot each other. Deb happens on the scene and is incredibly conflicted. Laguerta tries to appeal to her sense of honor, and Dex, not wanting his sister to be corrupted, tells Deb she has to do what she has to do, he won't fight her.
Deb ends up killing Laguerta! Though she feels incredibly sad and guilty for doing so. It'll be interesting to see the real ramifications of this on her. Also, since no one else is the wiser at the end of the ep, its kinda sad to see everyone else celebrating the new year, not knowing Maria is dead in some shipping container. I wonder if this will cause Batista to change his mind about retiring?
