AC blather- So I hadn't actually checked out any of that Uplay stuff, even back during Brotherhood. I mean, I saw I got points for certain actions in the game, and that you could redeem those points for something, but I had no idea I'd actually accumulated enough points to get something useful. Like I thought they gave you some points to give you a taste, but you had to do like multiplayer or something to rack up a high enough point total to get something.
But nope, it looks like the normal in-game actions get you enough points to get something useful. I had more than enough points to get the ammo capacity upgrades for all my stuff, so that was good.
I also didn't know Uplay points carried across all the Ubisoft games. After learning how Uplay actually worked, I loaded up Brotherhood and after loading up my saved game, got a bunch of points since I had done all the Uplay actions in Brotherhood. So I got a gun capacity upgrade for Ezio, and I noticed I could spend those points on AC3, so I used the points to unlock the Ezio outfit for Connor. Not that I'd use it, since you're stuck with the base white and red colors. I've actually been using the NY outfit, which is black with red trimmings.
But yeah, I guess they give you enough points in game to get all the goodies, so I actually have enough points to get a few outfits for Ezio in Brotherhood. Its too bad I didn't know about this when I was actually playing Brotherhood. I mean, I don't really care about the outfits, but I coulda used the extra bullets for the hidden gun.
And I finally did a counter kill with a snare, Connor will get it around the guy's neck to flip him onto the floor and use it to strangle a dude. Hmm, I wonder if you can use it to assassinate all garrote-style?
