geebsJust saw Pitch Perfect today. It was totally awesome! Superficial notes: Anna Kendrick has nice boobies. Its nice to see Anna Camp in stuff (she's got a nice little body), even if it still weirds me out when she's not Southern, even though she was only Southern on True Blood. I guess its because she has that country girl look. Alexis Knapp (last seen as the hot chick on Project X) is pretty hot.
But yeah, hilarious movies, awesome songs. I would've like to hear more of the remixes Anna Kendrick's characters made. (like Sia's Titanium/I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) by the Proclaimers, ha!) But what person doesn't watch movies?! And BS she knew Vader was Luke's dad even though she never watched Empire.
Oh, the movie did finally answer a burning question I had ever since I saw the riff off scene when it was leaked on the internet. I was wondering how Anna Kendrick was able to do Blackstreet's "No Diggity" off of the Treblemakers doing Foreigner's "Feels Like the First Time". Because from what I'd seen/heard on the soundtrack, you need to use a word from the previous song, but I didn't seem like she did, but I guess she went into Dre's rap of "It's going down" by going off of the "It" from "It feels like the first time".
TV commentary:
Young Justice- Its intriguing how far reaching the implications of Artemis' "death" go. I figured the rest of Young Justice would be pissed at Aqualad and be seeking revenge, since they don't know about the whole undercover thing. But I totally forgot Sportsmaster and Cheshire would not be pleased with the death of their daughter/sister, respectively. I wonder how much that's going to screw up the secret plan with so many people gunning for Aqualad.
I was amused by the Captain Cold part, mostly because I was thinking, boy did he pick the wrong bank to rob, with all the girls having that bridal shower across the street. So it was funny that it was pretty much him getting his ass kicked.
The whole Lex saying, interesting arsenal you have there was kinda clunky. But even more clunky was having Roy actually being all, "Arsenal, I like the sound of that!" And really, that's all it took for him to give up on his revenge? Lex took his arm, and caused him to lose like 8 years of his life, and all Lex has to do is go, "Hey, here have this awesome robot arm!"?
