Legend of Korra- Interesting way to end the season. I'm a little disappointed in Amon's real identity. He's just Tarlok's brother/Yakon's son? And his ability to take people's bending away is some really complex and powerful bloodbending maneuver, as opposed to what Aang did to Zuko's father? I mean, its fine, I guess, just slightly boring.
Also, being blood bent has gotta be one of the most excruciating things in the world! I mean, your body is basically being contorted and moved by the blood in it, I would think realistically that would cause serious internal injury!
Anyhoo, once it was revealed Amon was a bloodbender, I wasn't too worried about Korra losing her abilities permanently, she'd eventually figure it out. Although that came a little easy too, she was at her lowest point, allowing her to reconnect back with the avatar line, which healed and restored her full powers. And, she in turn is able to give bending back to those who had it taken away. So, all in all, everything was neatly wrapped up- they defeated Amon and got the city back, Korra can restore bending to those people who lost it, Tarlok even killed himself and his brother.
Which has me curious, what now? Were they not sure if they were going to do another season? Because I would've thought they would've dropped some hints as to what would come next season.
WO Blather- So finally found out what the big deal about Xiahou Ba is. His R1 special is a speed boost. A really big boost. He runs faster than a horse for maybe 30 seconds, and his attacks come extremely quick, as quick as any of the ninjas or other fast folks. So, given even with agility +10, his swings are relatively slow, using this often and keeping him at "hyper" is essential. So osmosis is a must, obviously. (his C4 refills his musou meter quick) And I guess brilliance is wasted on him, so maybe multi is a better choice?
Heh, I was trying to figure out why he got such a move, but I guess it goes along with his "really good at running away" schtick he has? Which is kinda BS that that is what he's known for. I mean, in history, he saw the writing on the wall and knew he was gonna get killed if he stayed with Wei, so he ran to Shu. And from that, they get he's cowardly and runs at the first sign of trouble?
