Criminal Minds- Things I apparently didn't know about the characters- JJ and Will weren't married?! Also, I knew he had moved from NOLA to be with her since they had a kid together, I didn't actually think about what he was doing. For some reason I thought he was like a house husband or something, but thinking about it now I guess him becoming a DC cop makes sense.
Which, I know the answer is because his partner was a minor guest character we never met before, but I assume that chick was partner for at least as long as he's been with JJ, so I'm saying at least a couple of years. You'd think Will would be a little more concerned that she got killed!
I did like the fight between JJ and Six, particularly when JJ ejected the clip of Six's gun and racked the slide back so there would no longer be a round in the chamber so Six couldn't start firing. Of course, that only works on pistols that have a magazine disconnect safety (alas, I don't know which pistols do, I should learn this, as such info would be quite useful) and drops the magazine completely when you hit the eject button (again, it seems like useful info to have).
I also liked the way Emily was written off, much like JJ left last year, she got a better job. Way better than her getting killed off (or fake killed off). And wait, is this Rossi and Strauss thing a new development? I mean, Criminal Minds is not on my must watch show list, but I swear I saw every episode this season. Since when are they an item? Or is the thing in the beginning an out of nowhere, for the first time hint something is going on?!
