Came across this piece of Glee fanfic, Deadly Four, which imagines Faberrittana as a group of hottie lesbian killers. I usually read corny fluff or angsty (but not too angsty) fic, but this one intrigued me, because if there's one thing I love, its hottie lesbian assassins. Well, hottie assassins don't necessarily need to be lesbos for me to like them, but it does give them bonus points.
TV commentary:
Eureka- (Weird, I don't actually have a Eureka tag, apparently? I figured I've mentioned the show more than a few times, which is usually enough for me to tag a show) Anyways, returning from last season's last crazy cliffhanger, the show flips the scripts yet again!
The team lands on what they think is Titan. But its not! They're actually back on Earth, four years later, only though it seemed like a few hours have passed for them.
While they've been gone SARAH has become head of GD, with Andy and a bunch of his clones carrying out her commands, using science to get anyone who doesn't get with the program under their thumb. Also during the interim, Carter and Jo, sad over the loss of their lovers find solace in each other. Its particularly hard for Alison, because not only has Jo replaced her in Carter's life, when she sees a picture from her now older daughter of their family- Carter, Zoe, Kevin, Jenna, and some other lady, she assumed it was her but comes to the crushing realization after seeing Jo and Carter kiss that the other lady is actually Jo.
And while the idea of Jo and Carter actually do make sense given the circumstances, who else would they turn to, its also weird and creepy, since they always seemed to have a father-daughter or brother-sister thing going.
In the end, after freeing G-D from SARAH and the Andys, Fargo is back in charge and its back to normal! Only no! It turns out this whole episode was a dream! Beverly and crew actually captured everyone on the Astraeus and plugged them into a virtual reality Eureka, and this was all a weird way to get the crew to "accept" the new Eureka and get G-D's greatest minds working for her and her people.
Which, are they going to get rescued next episode? Are they going to do a Fringe thing where it actually takes Carter a while to find them, and we cut between CotWs in real Eureka and fake Eureka?
Hart of Dixie- Speaking of scripts getting flipped, things hit the fan in this ep! Let's start with Wade's stuff, which is easiest to get through. So, his brother Jesse, played by Green Arrow, is in town. Zoe patches his him up for some injury, and he asks her on a date. Zoe has no idea Green Arrow is Wade's brother for the majority of the ep. I mean, she complains to Lemon later why she didn't tell her that Wade and Arrow are brothers, and Lemon rightly counters, who goes on a date with some guy who's last name she doesn't even know. I'm thinking, wasn't he just a patient, wouldn't she have seen Kinsella on the charts?
In any case, when Lemon and Zoe show up, bachelorette party and Jesse in tow, Wade about blows a gasket seeing the two of them together. He already has his own shit with his brother, and seeing him on a date with Zoe sends him over the edge. While walking in the woods trying to find George and Levon before they're devoured by bears, he rails into his brother having left town to be a big war hero, leaving Wade by himself to take care of their dad. Jesse wonders if Wade's jealous of his success, but Wade says Jesse does things like swoop into town and buy their dad a car. Their alcoholic dad! So when Jesse inevitably leaves, having shown himself to be the "good son", Wade's the one who has to watch over their dad, and take away said car keys when he gets too drunk.
Jesse then zeroes in on the Zoe thing setting him off, wherein he shouts he would never date Zoe because she's an elitist snob like him. So of course, Zoe walks in right as he's saying that. She confronts him later about his words, asking if he really thinks her a snob. Now its obviously part of this is motivated by jealousy, but he goes into her choice of men, vet dude, George, his brother, all successful guys. The her not going out with him because he's a simple bar man is implied. Of course, he's discounting the fact where he's constantly an ass to her, and when they do have moments, he often blows it on his own because he's scared, or an idiot.
But on to the main plot- George is still reeling from seeing Levon and Lemon kiss. He tries to convince himself maybe he was seeing things, that he was stressed out over his father's surgery. When he tells Zoe about it, she lies and says she saw Levon at home, so he was just imagining things. Meanwhile, at the bar, Levon, recovering from his hangover and still saddened by the event of the previous night is invited by Wade to the Bachelor Party hunting trip to bring up his spirits. Since they have a spare bed since George's dad is still recovering, George okays this. Of course, things get tense during the trip when George learns Levon was indeed at the Rammer Jammer, so he quizzes Levon about it, getting more and more suspicious, until Levon finally admits he did kiss Lemon. He lies to protect Lemon though, saying he had a crush on her and it was totally one sided.
Meanwhile, Zoe learns about George and Levon being out in the woods with guns, so she tells Lemon that George is suspicious, and convinces Lemon to finally talk it out with George and tell him everything. So, her crazy Bachelorette party organized by Magnolia (who took over the Maid of Honor position after Lemon had the falling out with Annabeth) is sidetracked to drive Zoe and Lemon to find George and Levon. Which, aren't Magnolia and Rose not even in HS yet?! But they're saying Magnolia organized this party bus with a male stripper and all sorts of erotic toys and candies?! Shouldn't her sister and her friends be more aghast?!
Anyways, they make it to the woods, where Lemon and Zoe find George and Levon, right after Levon tries to take all the heat. Lemon can't let him though, and finally tells George everything, about the affair while he was in NY and so forth. George unceremoniously dumps her on the spot. Magnolia comes upon this, and is there for her sister, saying she'll do everything to make things easier on Lemon, calling everyone to cancel, etc. Unfortunately, Lemon has gone full on crazy and refuses to accept she's been dumped. She thinks she can get George back. So when the rest of the bachelorette party files back into the party bus, Lemon acts like nothing is wrong, much to Magnolia's consternation.
In the end, George confronts Zoe about knowing about Lemon and Levon and not telling him, so she's in the doghouse too.
