TV commentary:

Glee- Concerning the Faberry hug and hand holding scene in last night's Glee, one of the reasons it stands out is because those two were the only ones we got to see genuine emotion between concerning Quinn's accident. Nothing with the rest of the unholy trinity, or Mercedes, or the father of her child, or either of her other ex-boyfriends. Hell, even when Tina was crying all Quinn did was tell her, "I'm fine, so you don't have to cry anymore!" Why did she feel the need to reassure Rach like that? And it was no small gesture, Rachel just broke down and looked like a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders when Quinn beckoned her in for a hug. And the hand holding was no accident either- because Quinn actually did let go of Rachel's hand when she was addressing the group, but when they cut to another angle for the next bit of dialogue, they're holding hands again. So it is the something the show wanted to have them do.

Like I've said before, if the show isn't actually having Quinn and Rachel go lesbian, they're doing an incredible job of making it seem like they might. I mean, do you see how those two look at each other all the time? Those aren't "just friends" looks!

NCIS- That was a... jarring end to the ep? I mean, it seemed like it was going to be continued! Ziva and Tony and crew find the CIA agents and are all, "Do you think you might know where the Chaplain chick is being held" and they reply, "What do you have in mind?" It seemed like, okay, they're going to gear up and figure out if this girl is still alive and come out with a plan to rescue her.

But nope, they just skip all that and jump ahead to post rescue, which seems like it was intense with big explosions and them dropping a bunch of bodies. So we're cheated out of some cool action. But I guess they already had them go on a rescue mission to another country to find a missing Navy/Marine chick that was two parts, I guess they didn't want to do it again.

But its just weird because they had no idea what's going on for most of the ep, and then in the last ten minutes. Oh, its a secret CIA plot to track the cartels! The ending just seemed very rushed. Unless this is set up for a future arc involving the cartels and Ziva's mentor again.
