TV commentary:

Pretty Little Liars- I thought this was an interesting ep, because they explored a bunch of dynamics we don't normally see. So with the way everyone was split up, we got to see Mona and Emily team up against the crooked principal and act all friendly. We got to see Aria and Caleb interacting without the others, as well as Caleb finally getting to confront Jenna over what he thinks is her vendetta against his girlfriend and her friends.

Heh, its amusing that A has put the girls through the ringer so many times they assume any time something awful happens to them it's her doing. But it turns out the nekkid pic of Kate was a fake, sent out by Kate herself. Being paranoid, she assumed Hanna would use the stuff Spencer had on her eventually, so she made a preemptive strike. But, Hanna figures it out, and she exonerates herself with a little help from her friends.

Emily also gets a little help, from Mona, who let's her know the principal has been taking bribes to keep boys on the sports teams who should be suspended. When Mona shows off her own computer skills here to find evidence, I wonder if its foreshadowing that she has the talent to secretly be A. In any case, Emily is back on the swim team, thanks to Mona, who blackmails the principal but claims she got the info because the football players have loose lips, not through any of the digging they did.

Aria (who looked really cute in that first black and yellow dress she wore in the beginning) is hesitant of keeping her deal with Holden to cover for each other, because not only did she see the bruise last week, she saw drugs in his bag. He's still being mysterious and not telling her anything, and she doesn't want to cover up something if he's doing something that has the potential to hurt him. In the end though, he gets back on her good side by saving her from Noel, who seemingly attacked her looking for Caleb, but the way the scene is set up it could be totally a misunderstanding.

We have another "mothers chatting about their daughters" meeting (sans Pam, since she must be back in Texas) and it seems they're getting closer to figuring out something is wrong with their daughters.

But the biggest "twist" of the night is that Jason and Spencer are half-siblings. I put twist in parentheses because it was a bombshell, but one that was pretty telegraphed. I think the audience suspected as much, because what other secret could Jason have with Spencer's dad?

House- Shocking ep tonight, one that wasn't spoiler by the commercials or promos, so that's good. So the CotW (played by Sark, Adam Monroe, John Gilbert, or whatever character you know David Anders as) ends up accidentally stabbing Chase in the heart in a steroid induced psychosis (caused by the team) and was temporarily paralyzed.

Anyways, Foreman's mentor is brought in to assess who is at fault for this, and the conclusion he comes to is that House fosters a crazy environment that could be blamed in any number of different ways for what happened to Chase. And it seems like he was going to blame and suspend House, but the CotW's wife comes in and says House ended up saving her husband with his last minute diagnosis. So, Foreman's mentor is all, "House's methods are dangerous... but effective". So he decides not to suspend House and rob the medical community of such a talent.

Still, House can't leave well enough alone, and is actually mad at the guy, because he was sure the guy was going to lay the blame on House and suspend him, and that mentor guy chickened out/was swayed by the patient's wife to go back on his decision. In any case, House is not back in jail.

Chase is recovering, but it seems like he's pretty sore about the whole thing. Its obvious that House cares in his own way at the end, but Chase isn't having it.
