Dec. 30th, 2011 12:52 amJust got back from seeing Godspell with
isabel79 and
sparkyboy. It was great! It was kinda a small theater, I think that's the closet I've ever sat to a Broadway stage! We actually ended up sitting next to the bass player. Heh, A actually made me switch seats because he was worried he might be pulled on stage. But they only did that to the people sitting on the cushions in the front row. Well, the cute blond did go through the audience during "Turn Back O Man". But heh, so one of the guys they brought on stage, I was wondering, "Why is he doing an accent?" when I realized, "Oh, that must how he talks normally!"
But yeah, awesome show. I liked the callbacks to the original movie, and it was chock full of up to date pop culture references. The Filipino chick was pretty cute, as was the blond. But it was a nice ensemble, everyone had a solo, and as A said even though they weren't really playing specific characters, they all had distinct personalities.
If there was anything annoying about the night, it was that all the restaurants were crowded. Ended up having dinner at friggin' Mickey D's.
AC:B Blather- So I'm done with all the side quests, I guess unless I get the Davinci Disappearance DLC, all that's left is to try and get full sync for the things I haven't yet. Well, I do have one more Borgia flag left, in the Basilica Romulus Lair. There was already one blink and you'll miss it flag during the chase, that's kinda BS if there's more like that! I mean, the other "chases" in the other Romulus lairs, there was one flag each during the chase scenes- in the sewer one, there was one off to the side after you're forced to fight a bunch of wolf-guys. The game tries to pressure you to continue the chase, but you can actually stick around the area to grab the flag, the chasee isn't going anywhere. And then the horse chase one, you have to do a jump off the horse to the pillar its on then continue on to another horse. Luckily, I got a lot of practice doing the horse beam jump since you had to do them a bunch of times to finish the thieves' guild challenges. But if the other Basilica flag isn't during the chase, I'm unsure of where else it would be. My guess is after the mass breaks, its somewhere in the area you're surreptitiously following him? I've actually been good with this game and didn't look up the locations of the flags, I've been finding them myself.
Actually, I forgot I haven't done any of the Subject 16 stuff. I guess there's that. So what else do I have left to do? Get 100% sync in the following:
Sequence 2:
1st Romulus lair (do within 8 minutes)
Sequence 5:
Escape From Debt- Don't be detected while escorting Senator
Follow the Money- Don't be detected and don't touch the ground
When in Rome- Disguised as Borgia Soldier, get to location with 3 minutes
Sequence 8:
Requiem- Don't be detected.
An Apple a Day- Beat Cesare to the Apple, but don't kill anyone
Romulan Lairs:
Catacome De Roma- Do within 8 minutes (which is crazy since that place is a maze!)
Cloaca Maxima- Don't lose 10 health squares (this seems like this shouldn't be a problem, but those damn wolf guys nickel and dime you with their throwing knives)
Basilica- Do within 8 minutes (I think I might be able to do this, I just can't make any mistakes during the chase)
War machines:
tank
bomber
The annoying thing about this is that you have to go through so much before you actually get into the tank and bomber, so if you do get hit, its a whole chore just to try again.
The thief mission races that are timed. The one where you weren't supposed to take damage wasn't too bad. Though if you don't have the parachutes, how the hell are you supposed to get all the way down to the first checkpoint safely and quickly? But yeah, those two are the only of the guild missions I haven't gotten 100% in. I think I can do the race at the ruins just fine with practice, I was so close. But I'm barely finishing the rooftop one. And the other big BS thing about that one is that the last checkpoint is surrounded by leaps of faith, so you can accidentally end up jumping down and basically losing.
Copernico- kill the targets within 5 minutes. I can shoot the guys on the rooftops before they get away, but finding the ground targets quickly is basically luck.
Of course, I'm trying to get 100%, but I don't think you get anything for that other than getting to say you got 100% sync. Other things to do, I did just break the 5000 mark in terms of enemies killed. I suppose I could try for 10K. First, because I can saw I killed vv('Over 9000!') and secondly "ten-thousand man killer" does have a nice ring to it. That's 100 times better than Guts from Berserk! In any case, its amazing how many kill animations there are in this game. I swear, I'm seeing something new every day!
