TV Commentary:

Chuck- The whole Shaw being the one who broke out of the prison would've been a surprise, if they didn't reveal in last week's preview. Actually, they even revealed it in the preview for the episode before this one too. But they did keep one reveal a secret. Sarah has a kid?! Good thing this is the last season, because as much as I loathe to use this overused term, its a "jump the shark" moment.

Now, some AC:B blather. Man, I keep pulling one bone headed move after another. So, apparently when I first did the initial stuff for La Volpe, I renovated part of that area, but not all of it. And I didn't sync the viewpoint right there nor talk to La Volpe to unlock thieves' guild missions. So, not only did I not know those were a thing, I could've had Rome 100% built a while ago. Since it was still foggy in that area, I hadn't realized I'd already been there, and thus thought it was memory-blocked for much of my time playing. I mean, at the point I am now, the next story-mode memory was there, but I was doing side quests and didn't want to go down that path yet.

But I remedied the sitch, unlocking the guild missions and getting Rome 100% built so I could get the Auditore cape. I'm also close to completing the guild challenges- just need to kill 5 more papal guards and 15 more guys while on horseback for the Merc guild, make a 25m dive, do a bunch of jumping on beams from horses, and a parachute thingie for the Thief guild, and just kill 25 guards at guard posts with my crossbow without being seen for the Courtesans. So I at least have the special advantages for those factions unlocked. Beating the challenges will get me some special weapons, but they're not as good as my current Sword of Altair, so no rush. Did finish all the shop quests except for the one that gives you the treasure map for the Vaticano area, so that's done too.

And I'm starting to see the benefit of the assassin's recruits more and more- particularly in missions where you have to fight a bunch of guys without taking damage. Like that first Copernicus mission, calling the recruits made that infinitely easier, since it was a fair fight, instead of me having to take on a bunch of guards by myself for two minutes without taking damage (and having to finish off whoever was left after those two minutes were up). I'll have to see if I can try that on the mission where the French are attack Bartolemo.

Oh, I did find all the artifacts in "the real world", so I guess I'm done with that part, I don't have to worry about progressing too far into the story and not getting to leave the animus.
