geebsSo, the official trailer for the upcoming Rock of Ages movie adaptation is out:
I'm... underwhelmed. I mean, I'll still see it because I loved the musical. Points for casting the babealicious Julianne Hough as Sherrie. And honestly, Alec Baldwin, Russell Brand, Paul Giamatti and even Tom Cruise seem to fit. But wait, are they changing the bad guys from German land developers to a stuffy "rock and roll is evil" type played by Catherine Zeta Jones?! How prosaic! It looks like Malin Akerman is playing an original character for the movie too.
Ida know, I'm more egg-cited for Joyful Noise right now. And yes, I realize how ghey it is that I posted the trailer for an upcoming musical movie instead of the trailer for the GIJoe sequel.
