geebsSo, had a scare yesterday that DW7:XL was pushed back to next week. But, I got my copy today, so that's cool. One annoying thing though, it carries over your DW7 data, and your officers still have all the skill points you earned, but not the skills. So you have to re-buy everything. Which is fine for most, you have more than enough skill points to re-purchase everything. However, I think it calculate skill points not counting the bonus points you would've had for having "skill points up" on both weapons and unlocked the "skill points up" skill. So for those officers that I played and just barely got enough skill points to get every skill, I think they come up a little short.
But I see why they make you re-buy your skill trees, because of those characters who's weapons changed (Xiahou Dun, Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei). They had "X master" of whatever their old ex weapon has, so this is the way the game corrects it so you get the proper mastery skill for them.
Anyways, XL actually raises the max caps on your stats- health is still 1000, but attack and defense can go up to 1400. So, those characters that I have maxed out, I still have reason to play because there's a new max to reach. In any case, plenty to do in the game now.
