HIMYM- All I have to say is about the ending to last night's ep is "Oh Em Gee!" I'm as giddy as a school girl! Of course, while I am glad the BrOTP is back on track, that's kinda crappy for the two of them to do to Nora and Kevin. It'll be interesting to see the fallout from this.
Gossip Girl- Ugh, no Dair yet again. If that Chuck apology leads to he and Blair getting back together, I'm going to be so pissed!
Hart of Dixie- Oh, weird, so Rose is still around! So Nancy Travis leaving for Last Man Standing didn't put her out of a job. You know, as amused as I am by the quirky characters of Bluebell, its disconcerting the number of people they casually introduce out of the blue.
I mean, first they flipped the episodes, so we met Addie before she was formerly introduced. But anyways her husband is the sheriff, which means they've been in town for a while, but why is she only now working at the practice after Nancy Travis left? I mean, if she's a registered nurse, where was she working before? Zoe and Brick are the only doctors in the town, and I know its a small town, but they can still use more than one nurse! Its like what if one gets sick or wants to go on vacation?
And apparently Lemon has a sister? Ambrosia? (why oh why did Brick and their mother do that to their daughters!?) But woah, I know I suck at telling ages, but Ambrosia looked way older when we first see her:

Like, it shocked me to find out she was a peer of Rose. (the actress is also that young) Maybe it was the dress though, because the morning after the party, when Lemon was chastising her, she actually did look like a kid then:

And wow, they managed to make Lemon sympathetic to me for once! When we first found out about her abandonment issues because of her mom, it seemed a little forced, like a way to get the audience to like her. But the whole having to be mother to Ambrosia and realizing her sister was feeling it was mother abandonment part deux with Lemon getting ready to leave the house and get married.
As I said before, I want to say from the pilot they were setting up Street/George to be the love interest for Zoe, but they may as well be on different shows now. I mean, she has her little thing with Wade, which is as cute and adorable as she is. Meanwhile, George, Lemon, and the Mayor have this triangle thing going on. Maybe with the crazy chemistry between Wade and Zoe, that's what they're going for, they have the will they or won't they relationship, while Lemon is caught between George and Levon.

Date: 2011-11-14 09:38 pm (UTC)the writing is inconsistent and out of order
rose has no family in town, new nurse is new town but isn't,
people get casually introduced and vanish then show up again
oh and Ambrosia was mentioned in episode 2 by rose
