Community- Hilarious Halloween episode. Awesome, clevage-y outfit on Annie in her story, But yeah, Annie's story was interesting, through a Jannie shippers eyes. Jeff as a conflicted monster thinking she's all innocent as a metaphor his reluctance to start anything with Annie because he feels like he's robbing the cradle. Annie's subtle dig at Britta by making her Jeff's blood bag. And then in the end, her being a werewolf to show she's not so innocent?
Secret Circle- How ridic was Faye's "sexy witch doctor" costume in the beginning? Given that top, if you can call it that, was backless, it was more something she laid on top of her breasts than actual clothing? Diana's still my fave, but Faye obviously is the best at working it. I mean, between that and her slutty Red Riding Hood costume? spcv('Nice!') And then you had Melissa in the cleavage-y sexy school girl outfit. Actually, she had skimpy wizard's robes over them. I guess it was a sexy Hogwarts school girl outfit? After all, she is a witch. And Cassie was a sexy bee, which for some reason required golden glitter on her boobs?
Alas, Diana's costume (was it supposed to be a vampire? Something else with ghoulish teeth?) wasn't really a "sexy" version of anything. I mean, she still looked pretty once she took the fangs out, but the outfit wasn't skimpy at all. I think it was all Victorian or something? That's not any fun! But I guess they made up for it in the end by having Adam accidentally walk in on her while she was changing.
Oh, and I guess it can't be helped some times, but still, but knowing that now that their circle is bound, they can't use their magic on their own, they would be at each other's side (well, at least be with one other person) as long as they can during the day (or have more sleepovers. With sexy pillowfights!) so they don't get caught vulnerable!
But interesting revelations this ep. So, Jake is with the hunters to avenge the deaths of his parents? I still can't believe the circle don't know he's working against them. I mean, they're suspicious (or at least Cassie is, and maybe Faye), but still, his excuses are pretty flimsy. Oh, and what's his face from MIOBI who took Cassie to the dance is a secret hunter as well!?
But interesting, so that Wilson guy tells Jake before he kills him that Cassie has dark magic within her, I guess from her father. So, he tries to warn the Hunters to stop them from killing the circle for now, because they can't kill her that way. The hunters are skeptical. Until Luke tries to kill Diana with the fancy witch-killing bottles Jake made. Turns out Cassie has powerful magic on her own, being able to cast even though the gang was contained within a circle of powdered iron oxide, which apparently blocks witchy powers? So, she ends up accidentally immolating Luke, killing him, which convinces the hunters of Jake's warnings. So they make it look like they tried to jump and capture Jake also, but again, the situation seemed so flimsy, I'm surprised they believed him!
In any case, so I guess her dad is possibly evil, and she has access to dark magicks through his blood? I wonder when we're gonna get a flashback to their parents, surely they'll do a flashback ep that shows the events leading up to the big fire from the past.
