So when I went to see Signs with Bill and Chris the other day, they saw my wallet and were all, "What's up with the Costanza wallet?" (For those of you living under a rock, its a Seinfeld reference) Anyways, while my wallet was thicker than theirs, I don't think it was that thick! I mean, you have essentials like your driver's license and credit cards, but then there's the stuff you don't always have to carry arround, like registration/proof of insurance, health insurance card, movie rental cards, employee ID, department store cards, etc. If I didn't have them in my wallet, I'd forget. I don't want to keep such things like in a desk or something, having to remember to pull them out when I had to rent a movie or I was going to Macy's or American Eagle Outfitters or something.

Speaking of which, let me rant about people not carrying any ID on themselves whatsoever! Its like, who doesn't take their wallet with them when they leave the house? I guess if they're out jogging or biking or something, they might not have such things with them. But its ID! What if you have an accident and they need to identify you so they can notify family! Or maybe I'm just anal.

I have a photocopy of my driver's license, my health insurance card, and family contact information in my bike pack for when I go mountain biking.

But then I am anal >:)

Heh, is it really anal to want people to figure out who you are, and what hospital to take you to and if you have any special medical conditions in the case of an accident? I say: "Better safe than sorry!"
