clevemire could plot vs age to see if it ends up looking like a bell curve. Which is actually way harder than it seems! Eventually, you get through the ones you do really like, and then you wrack your brain filling the remaining slots. I had come up with about 120 off the top of my head, and really had to struggle to come up with 130 more. Like some of the choices seem so prosaic and LCD.
Looking at the list, its amusing to pick out my thought processes for certain sections of the list, like what associations I made at the time.

Median is 29, mean is 29.636, mode is 24.
My favorite part is that the shape of the curve implies the underage girls you were afraid to list, because we all know there were some.
Anyway, since I was thinking about it, there are a lot of factors at play that influence the data. Your preference in women, which I'm guessing tends towards the young end, your awareness of them, which has to tend towards the old end, your ability to remember them while compiling this list, since I'm sure there are a dozen or so more you'd have included if you remembered, and I think that tends towards the late 20s (still young/hot/currently on TV, but old enough to be established and memorable). And there may be issues of you being cognizant of their aging, like if you remember them being hotter than they actually are now since you haven't seen them recently.
My totally unscientific inference is that your awareness of actresses increases dramatically up to 24, and from there you slowly start to lose interest as they get older, with the big dropoff at 34.

I think you do have a point about being cognizant of their aging. One trend, I think is that a few of the older chyx on this list, their career kinda went to crap, so I haven't seen them in a while and am probably going on fond memories. (Or at the very least, the one or two small guest spots they were in in the last few years, they didn't look too bad/didn't evoke a "what happened?!" reaction) Because there are a few ladies I know I left out who have had better careers and are still kinda relevant (or at the very least, the entertainment gossip sites keep them relevant) but I do know what they look like now, so being able to more easily compare them now and when they were in their prime ended up penalizing them.

A much smaller data set, but that's me for comparison. I got as far as 76 names and then got bored. The median and mean are pretty similar, 29 and 29.5, but the mode is 28 (to your 24).
I have no 18 year olds, one each at 19, 20 and 21 (Kate Upton, Aimee Teegarden, and Seychelle Gabriel, respectively), and even if I padded the list to 250, I wouldn't be able to add many in that age range. Your 18/19 year olds, I have no idea who almost any of them are. I'm sure I'd find plenty of 18-24 actresses very attractive, but because I'm, you know, an adult, I don't watch things they're in.
I also have almost no one crazy old (except MLP at 47), so I think that's how the averages came out the same. I don't think there would be that many 40+ women added either, I think they'd almost all be mid-20s to early 30s, because that's who I know. And I'm pretty ruthless about aging for something like this. Like obviously Madeline Stowe looks great for her age, but she looks totally old, so fuck that.
