Degrassi- Weird, looks like they've turned Bianca into a more sympathetic character, and in turn make Drew and Bianca a more likable couple. Still, there's still the taint of what she did to Adam, though I suppose the show is trying to downplay it. I'm glad someone finally referenced it at least. Though his mom referred to Bianca as "the girl who refused to dance with your brother", which makes it sound harmless, as opposed to the more accurate "the girl who threatened to kill your brother because he's a transgender".
Even though their plot was ripped off that terrible Tyra/Landry plot from FNL S2, it was amusing to see dumb Drew at least showed more sense and did within an ep what it took the supposedly smarter Landry to do in several! And Drew and Bianca had more of a reason to cover it up, because unlike Drew, Landry's daddy wasn't a cop who could help (although he was friends with Dave, who's dad is a cop), and Tyra didn't have a record and on probation for assault like Bianca was. Of course, in FNL, no one cared about some random redneck rapist, the fact that the dead guy here was in a gang who had "friends" looking for payback (or rather, looking for a replacement dealer) was prolly a big motivator for Drew to go to the cops for protection. Though he did still lie a little and claim he was the one who killed the guy rather than Bianca. I mean, the guy was trying to rape Bianca and he stopped it, he just said he was the one who bricked the guy, rather than him getting his ass kicked and Bianca smashing the guy in the head to protect him.
I'm sure its not over though, that gang prolly won't be too pleased at what Drew pulled.
I also enjoyed the less serious, and totally amusing Fiona being totally awkward at the whole lesbian thing. It was weird though, that the Charlie chick was all, "You have a girlfriend?" the third time she saw Fiona since Holly J had been there the other two times they conversed, so why didn't she wonder previously? Also, I would've been amused if Fiona was all, "I wish!"
The C-plot of Sav and Keke Palmer was... weird. As people have said on the forums, they should have at least let her play some fake character who is more famous, rather than herself. Because most people would be all, "Who?" No offense, but she's no Avril Lavigne or Alanis Morisette (or some other Canadian music chick).
