TV commentary:

HIMYM- Since we don't actually know Justin and Alex (the Nikita one, not the WoWP one) names, I wonder if they actually might be named Luke and Leia. Though you think SagetTed would have made a comment about their mother allowing it. So Ted and Zoey are dunzo. That was a pretty bitchy move on her part anyways- so as far as she knew Ted was on her side. But she brought the tape with her? So, I don't mind that the gang played dirty to win as well. Though you think there'd be some sort of investigation into the theft, since that was the one thing that was going to save the building.

It was annoying though that Ted was still struggling with his decision after he learned Barney's job was on the line. And it was that either way he would probably lose Zoey anyway that finally made himm take a stand. Granted, he loves her, but at the same time, she totally threw the gang into chaos, all because of a building she stayed a few weeks in when she was a kid. Yeah, the memories are special to her. And if it was only Ted who was going to lose his job, whatever. But Barney too? And the fact that she co-opted Marshall into going against the rest of them?

I wonder if this is the "ended badly" SagetTed referred to, or will she back to eff things up some more?

Gossip Girl- I should've known better to have faith that this show wouldn't just toss Dair by the wayside. It seems like Dan's moved on to Charlie's crazy ass, and Blair didn't even bring him up during the whole thing with Chuck and Louis. Seriously, what the hell, she's all, "Oh, Louis adores me, but he doesn't know about my darkness! Chuck saw the darkness, but that's all he seemed to care about! If only there was someone who knew about my darkness and still loved me and treated me right!" Uh, like friggin Dan?!

I am still holding out a glimmer of hope, what with all the ridiculous stuff going on next week (an off her meds Charlie upset with Dan, a distraught Thorpe having kidnapped Blair to possibly kill her to get revenge on Chuck!), that in the end, they'll do the "a week later!" they did with some of the previous season finales and somehow they do end up together, but I doubt it.
It seems like the TPTB tried to make it sound like Dair wasn't over to keep people watching, but I can't see how there's anything left to do with the places they are now! I mean, I want to say the coupling was well received by a good portion of fans, but they caved to the Chair fans even though that relationship is totally toxic.

Like, I know shows are fans of the bad boy thing, and I don't mind it- I'm all for Damon/Elena or Puckelberry. But usually its about getting the girl to see past that tough, bad exterior and love the good man within. But Chuck is not a good man. In fact, he's never even been interested in becoming a better man for her- its always that he's this dark prince, and she thinks she has a darkness in her, and he's the only one she deserves. How is that romantic? Its like, no one could ever love them for the horrible monsters they are, so they should just stick together?

And I never felt Blair was truly evil. Its not like she does things to revel in the chaos like Georgina would. In fact, she's exactly the opposite. She had this world view where she's this beautiful princess who everyone loved, to escape the reality that everyone, even her own mother and boyfriend loved her blond best friend more than her. And all her actions have always been to protect the fantasy she's created. They claim she loves scheming, just like Chuck and that's why they belong together. She doesn't- its because she's got esteem issues and paranoid that the facade she's built is about to crack, there's always going to be some problem she needs to stamp out, and her modus operandi has been to scheme- its more elegant that direct confrontation.

Chuck on the other hand, while also facing "nobody loves me" issues, he decided long ago that eff it, the world hates me, I'm gonna hate it. He revels in being a Bass-tard! So they're not even close to being the same! He's all about decadence and subverting those who labeled him as some sort of evil freak, whereas she's been trying to become the paragon of everything he actually hates! It does not make cents!

Owel, it was amusing to see both the creepy younger Blair and Serena Clones, and Kati and Iz. Well, Kati moreso since she like disappeared after first season because of the behind the scenes tension between the actress and Leighton Meester.

Chuck- Crazy cliffhanger, but c'mon, its not like its a real cliffhanger. Like Sarah would actually die! Though its odd that unlike everyone else who's ever been hit with the Norsemen, she didn't instantly die. Then again, it sounds like it wasn't the original Norseman, and the crazy sound wasn't as loud as previously.

I did like the gag with Morgan faking being killed by it, and another secret agent happening to be there also faking his death. Though it was pretty obvious that when Ray Wise was talking about a fake being there that it wasn't gonna be Morgan he was referring to. But interesting, so now that he has a cute gf who's worried about him, he's decided to no longer be in the field?

And heh, I guess the whole thing with Volkoff does look pretty bad to Vivian. I mean, Chuck reneging on their deal, I can see how Ray Wise could whisper in her ear to make Chuck look really bad, even though it wasn't his decision. But the whole thing with Orion and Frost, that's definitely pretty damning. So no wonder she was pissed!

Though Chuck and his family taking away everyone she ever loved? Its not like the CIA had anything to do with her mother's death, and she didn't even really know her father! She's a little melodramatic, if you ask me!

90210- Okay, ha, I will give the show props for having Dixon being nice to Harper only for it to blow up in his face, and not in the "she becomes a crazy stalker obsessed with him" or the "he learns more about her and kinda falls for her way". Instead, she just pulls an Elaine Benes-ish dance and he's a laughing stock. Hey, its different.

Oh, and the Raj/Ivy storyline, isn't that kinda like "A Walk to Remember", but its the guy who's dying of cancer. And hey, I don't blame him for trying to get a threesome. I mean, they played it off as him trying to drive her away. But hey, he's dying, like that's not on plenty of guy's bucket lists?

So actress lady left her estate to Annie?! Really?! Of course, since they randomly introduced her daughter at the funeral, I'm sure she's going to contest the will. I was actually thinking the plot was gonna be that she sold that really expensive necklace (it has to be, if it will allow her to pay her way through Carnegie Mellon), and the daughter was gonna accuse Annie of being a thief. Though I guess she probably will next week, and say Annie manipulated her mother into leaving her everything in the will.

And what was Max thinking, gussying up the paper like that? For one, if Naomi found out, she would be incredibly hurt, because then he might not think she's as smart as he claims she can be. And two, Dr. Phlox seems kinda like a dick. He's surprised he would place Naomi's paper under a lot of scrutiny?

I wonder if Silver is going to figure out Ade switched her pills? Of course, that's beyond low, so I can't even see how they can stay friends after that. Or even how her other friends wouldn't just shun her forever! I mean, say what you will about affairs and liking the same guy, freaking switching out someones psych meds is tantamount to trying to kill them, I think. That's way past silly little relationship drama!
