Just got back from seeing Thor and lunch at Atkins Park with the usual suspects. Thor was pretty good, a solid superhero movie. Don't have much more to say about it other than that. I mean, as far as an origin for a character such as Thor, its done well.

TV commentary:

Vampire Diaries- So that happened. Klaus ends up killing Jules and then Aunt Jenna and kills Elena to complete the ritual. Once he's vulnerable, Damon kills Greta, and Bonnie beats him to within an inch of his life and Elijah is about to finish him off. Only, the reason Elijah is pissed at his brother is that he slaughtered their family and hid the bodies. Elijah thought they were buried at sea, lost to the ages. But apparently Klaus kept them in a safe place, and despite Elijah being all honorable, Klaus offering to show him where their family is too enticing and he breaks his promise and spares Elijah. Bonnie was prepared to kill herself killing the both of them, but she's not fast enough, and Elijah stealth speeds away with his brother.

Jenna's not the only one dead. Turns out they found an old spell that would resurrect Elena without her turning into a vampire. Something to do with binding John's life force to hers. He neglects to tell the gang the part where it will kill him. So not only is Elena's surrogate mother dead, so is her actual father.

Also, Damon reveals to his brother about the werewolf bite, but tells him not to inform Elena, since she's lost so many already. Wonder how long that's gonna last?

Nikita- Whoops! Interesting, so it seems Percy knew Nikita, Alex, and Michael were in cahoots for a while now, but has been sitting on it. Though he did seem surprised that she was the heir to whatever the hell criminal empire her father was in charge of.

He reveals Nikita was the one who killed her dad. I'm kinda confused as to how much Alex knew. Did she know Nikita saved her from the fire and that she was part of the operation, but had no idea it was Nikita who actually pulled the trigger? Owel, so it sounds like Percy's Operation Sparrow was actually contingent on Nikita trying to thwart it, to get one of the black boxes into the CIA to do who knows what to its computer network.

But between the reveal to Alex and the fact that she has the bomb in her head that Nikita knew about and never told her, and she does Percy's bidding to turn on Nikita. Well, its not like she has any choice, being bugged with a bomb in her head that Percy is ready to blow up. I'm a little skeptical though, like she really killed the eponymous main character!? Since they only showed Alex from the neck up the whole time when she was under Percy's orders, I wanna say she was giving Nikita hand signals or something, and it was all an act to fool Percy.

Community- Another paintball ep, and its just as awesome as last season's. And I'm not just saying that because Annie as the bad-ass cowgirl is totally HOTT. Definitely curious to see where they're going with this.

Fringe- Argh, that cliffhanger? Is it the fall yet!? So in the future, Astrid has straight hair which makes her look terrible, and Ella (!) is a hot Fringe agent. Peter apparently destroyed the other world, but since the two worlds are linked, it basically signed the normal world's death sentence. There's a terrorist group called the "End of Dayers" trying to speed up the process, being helped by Walternate. Walternate ends up murdering Olivia, making Peter all distraught!

But Walter can save her! He realizes the first people who buried the pieces of the machine was actually them going back in time and planting it, since there's a wormhole in Central Park leading to the Mesozoic era (or something equally back that far). He has a plan. For some reason, he can't change history to not send the machine back and undo all that is done. But they can do something to the machine that sends Peter's consciousness into the future to see what happens and change things (which is what just happened!) and try to change things. Not sure how that makes sense, but whatever.

So, he ends up ripping wormholes in both universes and creating a dimensional pocket in the Statue of Liberty bring both Walters and Olivias face to face. He says they can work together and fix things now. And then he disappears. But no one is all that shocked. But we find out that's because Peter somehow erased himself from existence, according to the Observers gathered outside the statue.

Supernatural- Ah, we finally find out what's up with Castiel. So after the apocalypse, he tells the rest of the angels, crisis averted, now you're free to do whatever you want! Only, they have no idea what to do with that freedom. So, Raphael, being the strongest, is all, okay, let's just do the apocalypse thing. So Castiel makes a deal with Crowley to get the power necessary to stop his fellow angel. Which in turn sparks the civil war.

Bobby and the Winchesters find out, and are all pissed, even though Castiel had nothing but bad choices. I mean, it was either make the deal, or just have the Angels jumpstart the apocalypse again. In the end, Castiel calls out to god for some sort of guidance, to tell him if he's doing the right thing or not, but he gets no answer.
