Let's get the DW7 stuff out of the way first. I can't believe I forgot to mention one of the other significant additions in my previous posts, guardian animals. Basically, you always have a horse- even if you don't start on a horse, L2 will call one. Now, Red Hare (who looks sufficiently supernatural this time around), Hex Mark, and Shadow Runner are guardian animals, as are all the other mounts, including the elephant. But, "guardian animals" is not just this game's version of "saddle", as you can also get pets that attack along side you, like a wolf, tiger, falcon or eagle. Now, I believe since you can only get one guardian animal at a time, if you have red hare equipped, you can't have an attack creature. But if you have an attack creature, as I said earlier, you can still have a horse, its just the stock horse. But I don't think a fast horse is as vital in this game as it was in previous games. Particularly if you equip "walking speed up". (Heck, if you're really cheesy, you can just put walking speed up on both you weapons when piddling around since they stack, and then just pause and switch to more combat effective seals when you have to face an opponent)

Oh, but yeah, in addition to being able to have the aforementioned animal, there's also a bear mount. I haven't tried it out too much. One thing I know that differentiates it from the other mounts is the attack will attack enemies in front- on horses, you attack to the sides. But I don't think its any slower than the stock horse, so its not too detrimental to have that as your mount. (speaking of mounts, cavalry enemies are the most friggin annoying enemies ever) And I hear the Panda version does an area heal if you use the strong attack button, which can be useful.

Also, this is only in conquest mode, you can't choose guardian animals in story mode. Of course, I've been having a wolf accompany me, and I'll occasionally see it running around and attacking things, but I'm not sure if its actually adding anything other than "looking cool".

In addition to guardian animals, you can also have sworn allies in conquest mode. So what's a sworn ally? Basically the other characters other than the one you're currently playing. In conquest mode, you forge bonds with other characters basically by helping them out (either by coming to their aid in a stage, or if they're the commander and you win) or doing their "legendary stages" on the map. I believe once you get the bond bar to about and 1/8 to 1/6 full, they'll be available as a "sworn ally". So just like you can equip a guardian animal, you can also equip a sworn ally. Basically, they'll fight by your side, and they'll throw healing items your way if you're hurt bad, so basically they're a bodyguard. Of course, since this can be very helpful, some of the harder stages disallow sworn allies.

Oh, and on this forge bond thing in conquest mode, its regardless of who you're playing at the time- so its a measure of the bond to you the player, rather than any particular character. Which makes sense since you can play whoever you want in conquest mode at anytime. But yeah, if I'm playing Zhen Ji and I forge bonds with Xiahou Ba, Guan Suo, Dian Wei, and Xu Zhu during play, if I switch too Zhang Liao, those bond ratings are still the same.

TV Commentary:

Chuck- You know, I'm still lost as to how much Ellie knows about Chuck's situation. I mean, it seemed she learned about the spy stuff last season, but did she learn everything? It was off-screen, but during one of those season finales, it seemed like she told Morgan and Awesome to tell her everything. But the wording of some of the conversation in tonight's ep make me wonder if she just thinks he was doing spy stuff (at the very least, I know she thinks he's retired), or if she knows about the intersect. Interesting development though, just like Robin Givens was trying to get Ellie to start working on the laptop, now that Ellie has made incredible progress, General Beckman says there's an order from the top to have Ellie continuing to work on it.

And just when Chuck was about to reveal he's still a spy (and possibly he's the intersect if she didn't know about that part), he asks about the computer, and she lies to his face about it. He's so dumbstruck that he doesn't tell her his secret, saddened that his sister is lying to him. Speaking of liars, Alex and Casey will possible reveal to her mom that Casey's still alive pretty soon?

I also wish they did a little more development on Vivian's turn to evil, its a little abrupt. I mean, I guess we can get the gist of it. She's thrust into power, and the CIA kept screwing her over, so it was inevitable that she would get upset by the constant betrayal that she decided to follow in her father's footsteps to protect herself. But I think the turn could've been done a little smoother.

HIMYM- While this ep did have a significant development, it was kinda a clunky ep to come back from the break to. I mean, I know Barney's supposed to be a clown, but he has depth at times. Like he was legitimately upset over his dad. But the whole thing in this ep where he was upset about Marshall quitting GNB and it seeming at first that it was due to his daddy issues, but in actuality he was just mad because he wouldn't be able to enact his plan for revenge over some perceived slight was a little ridiculous. Particularly with the end tag where he apparently faked a lengthy and expensive disease to bring his plan to fruition 10 years later.

And I dunno, I know the show is trying to say Marhsall and Lily work, and while things did work out in the end for them, I still think she could have said something. I mean, she had legitimate concerns, but since Marshall worked it out to make her happy even though he didn't know she was unhappy she didn't bring it up. And while they're definitely in-sync, I think just keeping all that a secret just because it all worked out in the end is a little silly.

Oh, and I forget, did SagetTed say he did make a skyscraper eventually? So does he end up winning against Zoey? Or does he just build another building some other time?

It was totally apparent that she was turning evil at the end of the last episode where she helped the CIA and they screwed her. I don't remember exactly what happened, but it ended with her looking at something and ominous evil music playing.

And I don't get why Casey doesn't just go to the graduation in a disguise. Hat, fake beard, shades, the mom will never recognize him.
