Glee- Heh, I didn't realize the other Glee kids were also gonna have their own songs, I wasn't expecting other songs beyond the ones released. Rach had another song, slightly better than "My Headband" (and how hilarious is it that its Brit's favorite song?), "Only Child", Santana writes a song about Sam called "Trouty Mouth" which was hilariously mean, but she did it quite sexily. And Puck has a song for Lauren called "Big Ass Heart".
Wow, they've finally progressed on the Klaine front, with a pretty lengthy kiss between Kurt and Blaine. And the Warblers finally end up doing a song that's just not Blaine with everyone else singing backup!
I liked the stuff between Quinn and Rach this ep. Quinn finally admits she's seeing Finn, but I don't think her speech was particularly bitchy or malicious like some people on the forums thought. Quinn was just being honest, and in a way she was trying to help Rachel. I mean, Quinn was basically admitting that after HS, she and Finn will just be another small town couple, while Rachel is meant to be a star. And as such Rach should stop obsessing over Finn and just let Quinn have her pathetic life- its holding her back from becoming the star she's supposed to be. And I don't think Quinn's wrong.
I mean, sure, if Rachel can have at all, get the guy and still be a big star, that would be great for her, but Finn is kinda dead weight for her. Actually, someone did bring up something interesting in the forums that I didn't think about. Just like that one line back during sectionals where Rachel fantasizes about her funeral is pretty messed up, Quinn's attitude is kinda depressing also. I mean, it sounds like Quinn thinks her life is set, and has a pretty bleak outlook on what it will be like.
The songs ND actually use for Regionals worked, I think. Though what was with the awful outfits the girls were wearing? Butt bows? Tights and boots under their dresses?!
And heh, why is Rod Remington always a judge? He's just a local newsanchor! But heh, was Kathy Griffin supposed to be a Sarah Palin knock-off? Also, ha at Loretta Divine's line of "Is Dalton Academy a gay school, or a school that just seems gay?" Because they are quite fey!
But hey, it was nice to see New Directions finally win!
