TV commentary:

House- Can I just say, that Cuddy's mom being all, "I love you and your sister equally, but I just like her better!" is totally hilarious. How deliciously cruel!

Gossip Girl- No Dan/Blair interaction at all this episode, and as such I was totally bored with the ep. But next week's looks interesting!

Pretty Little Liars- After Aria finds out that her mom was at that museum thing, I did find it silly that she was worried that her parents found out about her and Mr. Fitz. Because, if they did spot her out on a date with her friggin teacher, she'd know. Particularly since its not a situation they can mis-interpret! She was in another town with the guy at night, both of them dressed all date-like, there's no possible innocuous explanation for what was happening. So, had her parents seen her, they're not gonna play it coy, they prolly would've torn into him right then and there!

90210- Ah, I was right, Aeryn Sun is a con! Glad it didn't drag that out. Still annoyed at how awful they keep making Ade with each passing week. Also pretty annoyed how the Teddy/Ian thing turned out also. So Teddy and Ian have a nice time over break, but then Teddy starts getting blackmailed. He's freaking out about it, but after Silver figures it out, she manages to convince him that the rest of the gang will be cool with his gayness and support him. So he does come out, and everyone's happy. Happy ending, right? Nope, because it turns out Ian was the one who sent him the blackmail threat, hoping to force him to come out. And then he's surprised that when Teddy finds out, he's pissed?! WTF?! Way to build up a pairing and then destroy it, show!

HIMYM- You know, reading the forums, it seems like there are more than a few people who hate Zoey, mostly because they hated her as Cameron on House. Which is a little unfair, I think she's a perfectly fine character (on both shows!). Though I can also see people getting annoyed because if she's not the mother, then if Ted did get involved with her, none of that matters because obviously they didn't end up together. That being said, I really enjoyed last night's episode. Which also happened to guest star Katy Perry.

So Katy Perry plays Zoey's gullible cousin. Hmm, Barney takes her home, and he claims he did her to Marshall and Zoey, but then with the reveal that Barney ended up telling her about his whole dad sitch, I'm wondering if he actually did do her, or if they just talked. I mean, would they really get to banging after he cried like a little baby over his father having not contacted him back yet after Barney wrote a heartfelt letter to him? Then again, it is Barney, I guess he wouldn't have any problem using it to his advantage to get her in bed. Well, even though they already about to bang until she brought up the whole dad thing.

But the rest of the ep was awesome. Hey, I actually like Ted and Zoey together. Though it is a little weird that they're acting like she's part of the gang now- like when Ted admits to everyone else that he's in love with her and he has to stop being her friend since she's married, everyone else is upset because she's apparently their friend now too. How'd that happen? Of course, its also silly that they act like, "Ted likes Zoey? Inconceivable! How did they get to that point?" I mean, when her character first showed up, he was totally trying to get with her, until he found out she was married. Sure, they have their little conflict over that one building, but if he felt that way before, why wouldn't he still have such feelings. But I digress.

I thought their little flirty friendship was cute, from the ketchup stuff to her being ecstatic when she found out he didn't go home with Honey. Plus, she looked wicked mad cute when she was all sad when Ted said they couldn't be friends anymore and then later when he said he hated her.
But she's getting divorced (I wonder why?) so now they can get together.

Hey, I thought that whole scene was cute, where Zoey was demanding why Ted hates her, and then Marshall called and revealed what everything he learned and how Ted was actually in love with her. And then she was amused when Ted was carrying on because she knew the truth and they finally kissed?

But yeah, that would be frustrating if she wasn't the mother, because then what's the point of all this then? Like Stella, I'd be fine with her being the mother. But I keep forgetting, the Mother has to be Rachel Bilson's former roommate and in that one wrong class he went too, right? So that's a big X against her being the mother, because, 1) what are the chances of her throughout all this coincidentally being Rachel Bilson's ex-roomie? and 2) wouldn't she remember Ted from that one class? Also, if they got married, you think he would've eventually learned Katy Perry's real name.

So yeah, if she wasn't the mother, it kinda invalidates the sweet moment just described above. I don't think the show has to end with him finding the mother. I think it would be fine if he met her before the series ended and they spent some time with their courtship.
