Dexter- Alas. So Dexter manages to find and rescue Lumen at the camp the gang used to torture the girls at and they kill Jordan Chase. Deb finds the scene, but can't actually see their faces through the plastic tarp separating them. She has them dead to rights, but seeing what Jordan made those guys due to the girls, she lets them go. So she gives them a headstart to dump the body, and then she reports finding the camp to the police, closing the barrel girls case. Sure, they'll never find Jordan, but they at least are able to prove he did it, exposing him for the monster he is.
So Dex and Lumen are on a high after finally succeeding in killing Jordan and crew, and Deb letting them go. Also, the cops have found Liddy's body, and its obvious Quinn had some involvement with Liddy. But I guess since he lurves Deb, he doesn't want to mention he had Liddy looking into Dexter. So since Quinn didn't mention anything about Dexter in all this, and Deb did him a solid (though she didn't know she was specifically doing him a solid), Dex makes the blood work to prove Quinn was at the scene show negative. Which I don't know how that makes Quinn get off scot free. I mean, I guess the prints could've gotten on the van some other time, so its only the blood being on his shoe was bad. But all those calls before Robocop's death, and the fact that Liddy and Quinn were into something? Isn't that still suspicious?
Hmm, so Deb let Lumen and Dex go (not knowing they were Lumen and Dex) because Jordan and his buddies were sick and evil bastards. But has Quinn just been covering for Dex because he's Deb's brother?! I mean, it seems there in the end Quinn acknowledges that he realizes Dex must be kinda shady but he's not gonna say anything because of Deb. But unlike the barrel girls thing, he has no idea what Dex is doing! I mean, he has to suspect Dex killed Liddy. Sure, Liddy was a dick, but he's fine with that?!
So thinks seem so great there, but with 10 minutes still to go, you know something had to happen. Dex is happy to finally find a partner. Only the next day, after the thrill from killing Chase was gone, Lumen no longer felt dark. She doesn't want to be a killer like Dex, but she acknowledges he needs to kill. Unfortunately, while she's not gonna say anything about it, she doesn't think she can be with him knowing he'll be off killing people? So they break up and she leaves, and Dex sadly says goodbye. Heh, I can see why she'd be a little scared to tell Dex she was gonna leave, after all he is a killer.
Owel, at Harrison's b-day, everyone's all happy and has someone. Masuka has that one chick, Quinn and Deb are back together. Even Batista and LaGuerta are fine, Batista forgiving her aftr seeing that she and Deb are back on friendly terms. Everyone is oblivious to his pain but Astor, who learns Lumen is gone and susses out he's sad about it. But hey, she seems to have forgiven him since she and Cody want to stay with him for the summer. Owel, I guess he is a serial killer, he shouldn't be getting a happy ending.
