Oh, I just realized I hadn't posted anything since my flight up to NYC. Nothing much to say about Thanksgiving. Lots of food, just stuffed my face as usual. Well, my aunt invited over the cute, available daughter of a late lady friend, that she insisted I meet. So I did. And that's all there is to say about that.

TV commentary:

Glee- So, the Kurt bullying storyline is still going on. Which is fine with me. I guess in a show like this with so many characters though, people have their own favorites, so it seems like in the forums some people are annoyed that he's getting so much screen time. But that's par for the course. If someone else had a meaty storyline, I'm sure there'd be just as many people complaining about that person and saying Kurt is being left out.

But looks like Burt and Carole are married now, making Kurt and Finn stepbrothers. I don't care what some people say though, sure the wedding ceremony was corny, but it was still sweet. As I said, I like that almost everyone got a chance to sing in "Marry You". Although isn't it kinda rude for Finn to be dedicating a song to Kurt at their parent's wedding? Shouldn't it be about their mom and dad? Owel, they were gonna go on a fancy honeymoon, but with Karofsky threatening Kurt's life and the school board impotent to do anything, they use the money they saved up to send him to Dalton. Interesting, wonder how long he'll be there?

But other continuity, they finally revisit the whole virginity thing. Rachel admits she lied about sleeping with Jesse, but Finn doesn't fess up that he banged Santana. I wonder when that will come out? Just in time to throw a monkeywrench in sectionals?

Heh, since the 'rents have a DVR now, have gotten to watch a bunch of movies I've yet to see:

Push- It wasn't too bad. I'm kinda amused that most of the fanfic out there for this movie ship Nick and Cassie rather than Kira, but we really don't get to know her. Oh, and the Chinese lollypop school girl was kinda cute.

Legion- Hey, I liked Willa Holland's skirt. But weird, I didn't realize it was full of people I know from other things. The aforementioned mini-Coop, whose parents are played by Dr Addison from Grey's and Agent Fritz from the Closer. Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Roc, not one but two people from Fast and Furious movies (Tyrese Gibson from the 2nd and Lucas Black from the third), Tyra from FNL, and Keamy as the big bad. In any case it just feels... incomplete.

Bandslam- This was pretty cool, with solos from Alyson Michalka, Vanessa Hudgens, and Street (okay, fine, Scott Porter). Of course, I did find it silly when the band started playing "Everything I Own" at the end, the crowd of friggin high schoolers started standing and cheering and acting like its a song they know. Wasn't that a song that was made 20 years before they were born and isn't that famous? Anyways, on the one had, I don't like that they made the song upbeat, I don't think it suits the song. On the other, I did like how the band was going for a richer sound with cello and piano girl and the brass section.

Of course, I'm trying to figure out if what Street did was a dick move or not. I mean, he basically screwed them over by singing the song they were going to do, a song that Keely (I don't watch Hellcats, so I shall refer to her by her name in Phil of the Future) had written about her dad who recently died. I couldn't tell if it was all innocent, and he really was trying to do something nice for her. Since it still seemed he cared for her, its possible. I thought it was a malicious, jerky thing to do (and he did show himself to be an a-hole by spreading the whole DWI-thing about his dad), but apparently Street and Keely are back together in the end, so apparently what he did wasn't too big a deal to her. Or the rest of them since they appear to be all friends.

Oveall, the story was actually pretty refreshing, the movie definitely used plots that were somewhat new and interesting.
