TV Commentary:
Dexter- Is it me, or are Dexter and Lumen cute together, plotting the deaths of her attackers? I like their little dynamic. But what happens when they get everyone? Will they start seeing each other? Will he bring her in on more stuff? As for the Fuentes plot, man, that one guy is an idiot. I guess he bet that Deb wouldn't shoot since she hesitated last time, but I think that's kinda dumb, since he already demonstrated that he would still hurt the person even after she put her gun down. How could he not see the bullet in the head coming? Though with he and his brother being a bunch of total psychos, I'm kinda worried about the aftermath for Deb.
And is it me, or is the nanny too nice and perfect?
HIMYM- I really enjoyed this ep. I loved the Barney/Robin interaction in this one, I'm glad to see them back to being bros, but at the same time, there's still that attraction there, that makes me hopeful they'll get back together. And I guess we know who Barney's real father is now, though for now only Barney and Robin know.
The whole argument with Marshall and Lily over him not wanting to quit GNB and becoming an environmental lawyer, I didn't realize that was something Lily still wanted. I mean, since he's been working there for a while now, and he was fine with it, I thought she was too. But I guess she's accepted that they weren't the same people they were back in college, so she's fine with Marshall sticking with GNB. Although I guess according to Saget!Ted there at the end, he eventually leaves?
You know, I actually like all the Ted/Zoey stuff. I think they have chemistry. Too bad she's married to the Captain (what's with rich people calling themselves the Captain?!) I mean, its kinda weird, because it seems like the show is trying to show there's an attraction there, but I'm not sure the audience would be accepting of Ted participating in an affair. Of course, I would be amused if he told Justin and Alex (heh, the Nikita one, not his WoWP sister one) "And that's how I stole your mom from a rich dude!"
