geebsWent to Fogo de Chao for dinner tonight with Scott, Krug, Bill, Jason Kau and Joe Barkley. It was quite expensive (you pay $35 up front), but it was worth it. Its this cool Brazilian place. Free salad bar, but not free drinks! cliffv('What's up with that?!') You'd think when you pay $35 they could at least cover the cost of a freaking coke. But anyways, you sit at a table and these guys wearing funny pantalones go around with all these different meats (lamb, chicken, pork, beef) on skewers and they come up to your plate and ask you if you want this or that. And they have all these cool things like filet mignon and bacon-wrapped chicken and different sausages. It was very filling.
The VMA music awards were tonight. I was wanting to see the Britney performance. I even rushed to work so I would miss as little as possible. And just when she was about to come one, this dude needed help with one of the 'puters. So we took it off the rack, exchanged some memory modules, and the damn thing would not fit back in the rack. I swear it was a conspiracy. I got stuck there for a half hour, missing brit-brits performance. It made me very angry. I was terrible vexed. But I'm watching the replay right now, so barring any crazy stuff, I shouldn't miss it.
Oh, and Ben decided not to take his stuff after all. Which is fine and all that we don't have to go shopping for new stuff, but I still got a new microwave and toaster. Ah, its just as well, he'll get his stuff eventually, so its better to buy sooner rather than later. Besides, his microwave and toaster were old-ass and dirty looking anyways.
