TV commentary:

NCIS- What's with the new interns? Is the show just wanting some younger blood? That said, I actually thought the plot was kinda clever in this ep. I mean, you think its like one of those classic bad guys kidnap the wrong girl things, since William Devane is playing some old bad-ass ex-spook. But it turns out Bernard from Lost is one of his ex-team mates, and used the whole kidnapping as a ruse to kill his former colleagues because he's crazy and is feeling excessive guilt over all they had done back in the day. I just thought it was a nice twist, b/c obviously the grandfather would reach out to his old buddies to try and get them to help him find the bastards who got his granddaughter and rescue her. So all Bernard had to was sit back and let him do all the finding for him.

90210- Seriously, is this show in bizarro land or something?! First Annie gets off practically scot free for killing a guy. Then she babbles this to the chick interviewing her for some fancy internship Matthews got her, and ends up getting the job b/c the lady appreciated her "refreshing honesty". And now the lady wants to buy Annie's eggs. I mean, I suppose she and her husband can't conceive, so they want her donor eggs. But if someone tells you they got drunk and accidentally killed someone and covered it up for a year, I'm not sure they'd be the best choice for genetic stock, even if they're attractive and looked like you did when you were younger, so at least the kid would look like you. Then again, if Annie can literally get away with murder, maybe they do want their kid to have her insane luck.

Ooh, and Ade messed up! Javier recorded that one song a few months ago, and his uncle has a copy. And he's played by Nestor Serrano, so he's a scary looking dude. If I were Adrianna, I'd be freaked that he was gonna kill me and get a couple of wise guys to bury my body in the desert!

And Oscar's plan makes a little more sense now! It seemed like he was spending in inordinate amount of effort trying to get into Ivy's pants. Apparently, MILF ruined his dad's life so he's out to ruin hers. By deflowering her teenage daughter?! But his plan backfired a little b/c he told Dixon she was a virgin, and it had its intended affect of Dixon freaking out because she lied to him about that and how can he trust her if he told her all about his gambling problem and his stuff with his current parents and the stuff about his birth mom if she won't be truthful with him. In her defense though, 1) I don't see why it matters if she's a virgin or not, because I'm sure teens lie about that all the time, and 2) he's being a little overly dramatic about it. I mean, I don't remember when she lied about losing her v-card at surf camp, but I don't recall it happening when they were together. So it was prolly when she was "one of the guys" and she just didn't think to correct him once they started going out. Its not like she was maliciously trying to deceive him.

But I digress. So, she does come clean to Dixon about her trust issues- her dad walked out on her and her mom, and he lives just 10 minutes away and has never bothered to check in on her. So for now, it seems like Oscar was unsuccessful in breaking them up.

And ooh, they do a little fake out there were Teddy got drunk and banged someone who left a note about what a great time they had. And at first you think its that Genevieve girl (who coincidentally gives Naomi some pills to help her sleep), but its her guy friend! So Teddy had a gay encounter and is freaking out!

But getting back to Naomi and the pills. Apparently she has huge PTSD over her rape and can't sleep. She's out of it at school, and in the video yearbook, she inadvertently quotes Cannon's little documentary since that's been going through her mind all the time since it was playing the night he raped her. This ends up being important- Cannon continues to stalk Silver, salting Teddy's game with her by giving him a big hw assignment so he can't see her and apologize after school. Then he "accidentally" bumps into her and invites her over to see his documentary and tries to roofie her. Lucky for her, he claims no one has ever seen it, and she realizes that Naomi has since she knows it word for word. So she finally believes Naomi and gets out of there before drinking the roofie tea and avoids being another rape victim.

But, since Naomi has been going crazy, she chases a bunch of sleeping pills with some wine to drown out the memories and ends up OD-ing. So the ep ends with Silver coming over to apologize and finding Naomi passed out and unable to rouse her. Well, I'm at least glad they didn't drag Silver not believing Naomi out. But now that Silver knows, I assume she'll tell the others and they'll work out a way to get justice for Naomi?
