third times the charm
Jul. 11th, 2002 03:07 pmOkay, I'll attempt to post for the third time in a row. Not that I really had anything important to say. Just that I was feeling detached, like I was hopped up on cough medicine. You know, when your whole head feels numb and the rest of the world seems to fade away? I think its mainly just boredom and lack of sleep.
Anyways, I was looking at the vacation and sick leave report and saw that I had accumulated 154 hours of vacation and 98 hours of sick leave. Over here, the amount of sick leave we can accrue is practically unlimited, but I think the amount of vacation time we can save up is about a month and a half. So I'm getting there. I'm usually on vacation right now, but since I got transferred here over the summer for cross-training, I'm stuck working. Of course, I'm also cheap and lazy. Call me boring, but there's not really anywhere I can think of that I think, "I really want to go there." I used to have a bit of wanderlust when I was a kid, but nothing excites me anymore. Sure, I'll visit the family wherever, but beyond that I have no plan for what I'd do if I had the time and money to go anywhere.
