geebsCool, so I mentioned before that Montyoum, the guy behind Haloid and the dead fantasy video series has been working with the Red Vs Blue guys this current season. I guess this past ep was one of the eps he worked on. I always love the fight choreography in his vids, its very innovative. Particularly in the way he integrates tropes and mechanics of the games into the fighting. I mean, in the Dead Fantasies, I thought it was brilliant how he integrated the magicks of the Final Fantasy series into the sequences. This one, I like the use of the teleportation doorways.
TV commentary:
Pretty Little Liars- I'm trying to figure out who's pervier, Mr. Fitz, for beginning an affair with Aria, or Wren, for making out with Spencer and then being all, "maybe I chose the wrong sister!" Its like dudes, you're both in your 20s, they're both 16! Of course, cop guy seems pervier. I mean, I still don't see how he can be screwing Hanna's mom and still be investigating Hanna and the other girls? Plus, wandering around her kitchen in only a towel. Between that and the way he seems obsessed with these girls, they could prolly convince his bosses that he's some weirdo pervert, that would get him off their backs!
Oh, I'm also amused how the show has both the OTH crazies, Crazy Nanny Carrie as Spencer's sister and Katie as the student Aria's father had an affair with. (Heh, actually, it would be quite hilarious if Aria got caught with Mr Fitz, and when her dad asks how she could have an affair with her teacher, she can be all, "I learned it from watching you!")
Anyways, Spencer copying her sister's old term paper?! I assume if she's this brilliant all star student who's obsessed with perfection, her sister was the same way back in HS. Therefore, her teacher would immediately recognize the paper! Dumb-ass.
And really, what is up with Hanna's boyfriend? Why doesn't he wanna hit that? Seriously though, given Hanna used to be a fatty and is obviously insecure, he could prolly give forth some better explanation why he doesn't want to sleep with her! He acts like he cares for her deeply, but given she was all, "I could have any other boy in this party!" and is prolly emotionally vulnerable and ripe for the pickings, he could at least do something to reassure her and watch after her. Not "Sorry babe, I don't feel like screwing, I'll just leave you to wallow in self pity and most likely do something stupid so I can play some foosball!"
And how was she not in trouble the next day for stealing his car? Its not like they didn't know she took it!
I have to eyeroll at those pics of Emily and Maya getting taken and prolly being used to blackmail her. Is that really a big deal this day and age? bbv('Its total BS!')
Oh, I'm really curious what the whole deal is with Jenna and Toby. So Toby took the fall for the girls because Ashley had something on him. And the flashback had Ashley being all "OMG!" when she opened the door. They made it a point to say Toby was Jenna's stepbrother. Did Ashley see them doing something unsibling like, and threatened to expose them if he didn't take the fall? Also, why is he stalking/protecting the girls? And why is Jenna not pleased with that?
And speaking of Jenna, they didn't show what happened when Spencer saw Jenna sending out a text message. Which has me curious, can blind people really dictate and then send out a message all, "Send message" to the phone? How do they get text messages back? Does the phone turn it into speech? Why don't they just talk on the phone instead?
