TV Commentary:

Secret Life- Dammit, I wish I could quit this show. But it makes me so incredulous that if this show wasn't on, I wouldn't be able to make posts about how incredulous I'm feeling after watching. Argh, I was hoping the beans would be spilled concerning Adrian's preggers scare. But both Ricky and Amy are clueless. Well, that's boring! Although I guess Amy's back with Ben now, so when she does find out there'll be more drama!

And weird, when did they make it so that all the girls mixed up with Ricky are now mixed up with Ben. I mean, there was always the Ben-Amy-Ricky triangle. But then there was the Ricky-Adrian-Grace triangle. But then it turned into a weird Ben-Amy-Ricky-Adrian-Grace triangle, with Adrian frakking Ben to get back at Amy and Ricky, and Grace all of a sudden having a thing for Ben. But yeah, Adrian's totally lying about not being preggers anymore, and Grace seems jealous over the whole sitch. And even though he's back with Amy, Ben seems to be unwilling to let Grace off the hook, judging by the way he was bowing out of doing stuff with her, but not saying he's not interested in her anymore since he just told Amy the L-word.

In other happenings, Ashley and her dad secretly put her on the pill, leading to the usual Amy and her mom vs Ashley and her dad shenanigans. But what the hell, now Ricky's sniffing around Ashley now? I mean, its kinda pervy, since he seems to alternate between flirting with her and acting like a protective older brother. And there's the fact that he knocked her older sister. Its like, what is he, just going down the line?!

Oh, so Jack's mom is Pam from True Blood? Ida know, she doesn't seem old enough to have a kid Jack's age. But what the hell, are they trying to be all innovative by doing the exact opposite of what normally goes down when a parent gets a job somewhere else and possibly have to move?
So Jack's stepfather gets a job offer at his old alma mater in Phoenix. But, they don't want to move him his senior year. So instead of being normal parents and being all, "we're the adults, so T-S! We have a better job opportunity in this other state, and unless you want to pay the bills, you're coming with us!" They're all, "Eh, we'll only leave if you can find a friend to stay with for your senior year, and if not, we'll just not take the new job!" WTF?!

I guess the show does have the fact that the characters are the moronic teenagers they're supposed to be going for it. I mean, did Madison and Jack really think her parents would let him stay with her? Ah, of course, if this show wasn't so stupid, then I wouldn't be able to rant about it!

Hey, looks like long necked cute commercial chick is in a new commercial!

The Good Guys- Second ep in, its still a funny action show, though the whole "x minutes/hours ago" could get old, even if its used for comedic affect. Or to act all slick and clever, though there were a couple of times where they coulda just had things go straight, instead of having something happen and you know why its happening, rather than have it happen first, then they explain to you how things got that way. There's nothing wrong with telling the story in a straight line rather than circling around on itself every few minutes.

But hey, its Slater from Community. She's cute! As is Sock's demon gf.

Just watching Lie to Me off the DVR right now (aren't there supposed to be less shows on now that its summer?). And is it me, or does Howard Hessman kinda look like a skinny Ricky Jay in this ep?
